'Staff were very friendly! Not sure if I missed it in the description, but the bathrooms are shared and in order to shower you need to book the onsen. By the time we got there all the times that worked for us were booked. The onsen was just a tiny little hot tub essentially in a depressing room-not really what I was hoping for. The soup served for breakfast was great! Overall, I wouldn’t stay again as I don’t like hostels, but if you do then this is an okay find.'

'Rooms are very clean. Amenities are adequate. Above all the place is in an environment where ait quality is superb and hot springs are everywhere! Mt. Fuji is about 50 kilometers away and you can see it from a couple of train ride stops away whether permitting. On the other hand for customers with a certain age you may need to be prepared for slope climbing. 'Despite the beautiful location of the hotel, the staff and facilities were unfortunately very uninviting. No amenities were given and everything had to be bought at an extra cost. Additionally the hotel bar did not have change so you had to pay with the exact amount if you wanted to get a drink.
