'This was by far the nicest room/resort we have stayed in. After being cramped in many Japanese hotels and ryokans, this was much much larger with three queen/full size beds, a 65" TV and an outdoor bath (mineral salts available in the lobby). However, please understand that as this location is very remote, dining options in the area and transportation may be limited. This may be why we didn't see any foreigners there? However, they do provide pick-up service to and from the Shin-Iwakuni station...

'We had such an amazing experience at this hotel. We both have tattoos, so we booked the private onsen which happened to have the most breathtaking view. We enjoyed it so much! The kaiseki dinner was tasty and the intention to detail was impressive. The view from our room was also incredible and the staff was very friendly. Would absolutely recommend staying here.'

'Wat een mooi en indrukwekkend hotel. Prijs kwaliteit heel goed. Ik heb nog nooit zo een uitgebreid ontbijtbuffet gezien. Ook mooie sauna/zwembad. Enigste nadeel hier is dat je een badmuts moet dragen in het zwembad en hiervoor nog huur voor moet betalen. Dit zou gewoon verrekend moeten zijn in de prijs zoals het gebruik van handdoeken.'

'This area really surprised me. It is remote but is beautiful! The resort is very old and needs a good cleaning. The entrance area had a mouldy smell, but the room were VERY big and clean!! Lots of room and liked the decor. I did like the private onsen, but it was not what I expected. It was more of a tube outside on your deck. I was expecting continuous hot water flow like in the public onsen.'
