Halcyon House, uw privé-uitje in het uitloperswijnland van Californië.

Ruime Victoriaanse stijl cottage met alle moderne gemakken. Zoete veranda en groot terras achter om buiten te leven. Prive, rustige locatie, maar toch op steenworp afstand van restaurants, winkels en wijnproeverijen in het historische Amador City. Meer dan 40 wijnmakerijen liggen op korte rijafstand.

Halcyon House is al meer dan een jaar beschikbaar op een andere reissite en elke gast heeft ons vijf sterren gegeven!

Het huis beschikt over een begane grond meester met een kingsize bed en een complete badkamer. Tweede verdieping bestaat uit een koning slaapkamer en een koningin, met tweede bad. Beide slaapkamers boven hebben dakkapellen met ligbedden, ideaal voor kinderen of een leeshoek. Keuken is volledig ingericht met borden, glazen, bestek, potten en pannen, kleine apparaten en koffie, thee, creamer en zoetstof.

Voorporch naast de kleine vijver is een plek voor ontspanning in de buitenlucht. Grote privéterras aan de achterzijde biedt een zithoek, eettafel en grill. Propaantank en grillreiniger zijn inbegrepen. Laat het me weten als je geen van beide meer hebt.

Perfect house and location

We came to CA for my nephews wedding in Sutter Creek! This wonderful spacious yet cozy house was really great! Five adults had plenty of room. It is very clean and only about 3 minutes from Sutter Creek! We will stay here again if we come back to that area. Thank you for a lovely place to stay!!

Our stay at the Halcyon house in Amador city was perfect. We were celebrating my 2 granddaughters who just turned 21. The location was perfect..close to wineries, hiking, shopping and rode the rail cars. We would definitely come back and stay in the Halcyon House again!

Girls weekend

This is my second stay here. This was a girls weekend! There were five of us and the space was perfect. I will definitely be back over and over. This house has everything you need and even things you wouldn’t have thought you needed. The location is perfect for a girls weekend lots of games and laughs. Cocktails on the patio, a cute town steps away for food and shopping. Can’t say enough good things about this sweet little place. All of my questions are always answered quickly as well, which I really appreciate.

Relaxing weekend in Amador County

We stayed at Halcyon House in Amador City. The house was very comfortable for 3 couples. Everything in the house is updated and tasteful. It has a nice outdoor area but was too chilly for us to be outside. It's a very short walk to downtown. Marilee is the most responsive host I've ever worked with on a vacation rental. I hope to return to this house again - it's a special find.

Property was very nice and had everything we needed for relaxing and cooking during our stay. Spacious bedrooms and bathrooms. Many small added touches that made the stay as easy as being at home. Sorry the weather didn’t allow us to use the beautiful patio.

A 10 Star find!

This is wine country at its best. This home is not only very clean, it is classy and comfortable in every detail. We went to celebrate an anniversary and Marilee added some thoughtful, delightful extras to make our stay special. She was extremely helpful when we (uneducated in new technology) asked for some direction in using the thermostat. This place was the top of the line. We recommend it 100% and hope we can stay there again.

A true gem in the Gold Country

This was our second stay at the Halcyon House and when our stay is complete, we always feel a little sad. Both the property and host Marilee are warm and welcoming, and Halcyon feels like home. It is beautiful inside and out and has a well equipped kitchen. The location is quiet and a stones throw to downtown Amador City and a short drive to Sutter Creek and the wine region of Shenandoah Valley. We will definitely return!

Cute house, had everything we needed. The host was very helpful. It was a bit cold for people that live in Arizona as the heater only went to 72, however the furniture was cozy as they had throws that came in handy. Marilee thank you for your help!
