I greatly appreciated the fresh flowers upon arrival and the blackout curtains. That set the precedent for what I was expecting. However, it went downhill from there. The doorframes of the entrance and the back patio doors were not cleaned. There were bugs and spiderwebs all over them. The walls were in need of touch up paint. There was an area on the wall in the living room that looked like it had been patched up due to an incident but the job was done poorly. The blinds in the front kitchen window did not go all the way down. Therefore, we could not completely close it and there was about 6 inches of visibility inside the townhome that I could not do anything about. The back door sliding glass door was missing three blinds and therefore there was also about 6 inches of visibility inside the townhome from the outside in. The carpets throughout the townhome were dingy, worn down and in desperate need of replacement. The sofa downstairs looked used and old and also in need of replacement. The cushions and throw pillows were saggy and worn. Upstairs, the second bedroom curtain rod kept coming apart every time I tried opening and closing the curtains. Oh, and the beds in both the master and second bedrooms were officially the worst. They seemed as if they were purchased on Amazon and came in a box and assembled by an amateur. They were rickety, flimsy and creaky. And the mattresses further added to the problem. You’d sink if you sat or slept on them.
