'La Carolina is a modern brand name hotel with great views of Quito. The room was spotless and featured wall-to-wall, floor-to-ceiling windows overlooking Parque La Carolina. About a 10-minute walk from the upscale shopping/dining area near Avenida Naciones Unidas or Iñaquito subway station. Breakfast is sumptuous. If you need a taxi from the hotel, ask for Jhon. He's extremely safe and loves to practice his English and is willing to help you practice your Spanish. '
