This lake house was the perfect little retreat close to the wedding venue and close enough to the highway to get us to Kennesaw fairly quickly to visit with extended family. When you first walk into the house, you’re greeted with sweeping views of the lake and the mountains in the background. 'This cabin was amazing!! It had ample space for my family of 4, plus my parents, and my brother. The pool table, game system, hot tub, huge deck space, fire pit, porch swings, Mountain View’s from inside and outside, comfort of the beds, and accessibility to nearby hiking trails were all amazing. The only thing I’d make sure to bring is cleaning spray like Meyers or something. Everything else like paper towels, sponge, and soap were provided. I’d always pack extra paper towels if it were me....

'We got this property as a spot for all the groomsmen for my wedding to stay together. The place was perfect. Lots of space, huge bedrooms, multiple beds. The extra room with Billards was fun. I wish we got to stay longer and use the fire pit. Bring soap for the bathrooms/showers. Other than that I would go back in a heart beat!! All was perfect for a family/group.'

'The location of the property was great and right on the lake. We enjoyed our stay and made s’mores by the fire pit. The grill was great although we did need to get propane as the tank was empty. The dishwasher was also a little broken, but it still worked fine. All in all, it was a great stay with beautiful scenery, and I would definitely book again.'

One thing to consider if you have an elderly parent like we did during our stay. There are a short flight of stairs that made it really difficult for our mom to get around. 'I highly recommend this property! It is a very cute cabin. Our boys loved it and felt like they were staying in a treehouse. The community is great and we really enjoyed eating at the restaurant in the community clubhouse. It was very convenient. The cabin was clean and comfortable. The owner always responded quickly and had excellent communication. The book detailing community info in the cabin was extremely helpful. 10 out of 10!'
