'We were so lucky to get this property, it is only 7 miles from the Bethel venue where we saw Rod Stewart in concert. The house had everything we needed, the master bed was so comfortable & high up! The nearby park was well worth the visit. We were able to attend a pancake breakfast at the nearby fire station. We spent most of our time in the porch area, nicely furnished & plenty of Hummingbirds at the feeder. We saw the deers daily. Such a great get-away for 2 Florida girls!'

'Everything is new and works well. Cottage was spotless and prepared well. Check in process, door locks, internet etc all perfect. Just a little too early in the season for leaves on trees, so didn't get the secluded feeling that we imagine would have been there just a couple of weeks later. Visited with our standard poodle - he loved it. Excellent dog park nearby.'

'The place was as advertised and more. They had everything needed for a relaxing and quiet stay. They have managed to incorporate multiple activities in one place. The outside jacuzzi, the fire pit area, the hammock area, the picnic table area, the back porch with grill area and the inside TV area with movies. We loved our stay. We recommend to all.'

There were some sort of birds caged in the neighbors yard behind that made VERY loud noises throughout the day/night. 'My girlfriend, and I had the best week of our entire year at this house. The area is phenomenal, the house itself is cozy and comfortable, and the lake is beautiful. We caught a whole bunch of bass right off the dock, took the boat out and caught some pickerel. what great fishing :). there was a very good vegan pizza place nearby for those who need vegan food., The geary family is wonderful. Upon arrival, we were thrilled by the surprise of a wine bottle, its the little things that make the stay...

'Rented the house for a group of 9 (all adults over 21) and my dog to do some hiking at Minnewaska State Park and it didn't disappoint. There was plenty of room for everyone. The place was clean and had everything we needed for our stay.'

'We liked the place it was relaxing. However we dont know when it happened, but we werent notified til a day or 2 before arrival that the sauna had been destroyed.due to a storm. Also bring socks or slippers as there are signs upon arrival of no shoes allowed in house.'

'We had a wonderful time, in spite of rain. The cabin was very comfortable and well stocked. It was literally less than a quarter of a mile to the hiking trails. Our dogs were very comfortable as well. One caveat. If you are coming in via RT. 209, do not turn off of Pine Kill Rd onto David Rhodes rd. Apparently GPS thinks you can go through, but it puts you on a dead end road. If you stay on Pine Kill, it will eventually route you the right way.'

'Cabin was exactly as described. Very comfortable, great spot for my son and I and our two dogs. We had a great winter getaway, and hosts were very good communicators. I would gladly go back! Lots to do in the area...'
