Ik betreur het gebrek aan informatie, het is pas na een tweetal dagen dat we het info scherm hebben opgemerkt. Bleek dat er een aantal kortingen beschikbaar zijn als gast van het hotel. We hebben dan toch nog een korting kunnen bemachtigen voor het Israeli museum. Op ons vraag naar de Jeruzalempass, werd ons geantwoord dat die niet werkt.

Erg leuk hotel. Vriendelijke mensen. Eten prima .
Prima liggen voor uitstapjes bus zeer dichtbij. Tram prima te bereiken. Oude binnen stad binnen 15 minuten te bereiken.

L:ittle house in Bakah, een uitstekende keuze
Zeer goede service, schone kamers (wij hadden meet z'n vieren een "unit" met afsluitbaar halletje en 2 dubbele slaapkamers) op en uitstekende locatie. Met bus nr. 71 (halte op ca. 50m) binnen 10 minuten bij de oude muur, lopend ca. 35 minuten. Bij het hotel een lekker, aan te bevelen restaurant, waar ook het ontbijt geserveerd wordt. Al in al een geslaagde keuze.

Prima hotel, hulpvaardige bediening, eigen restaurant, goed verbindingen.
Prima hotle met nette kamers, dagelijkse schoonmaak en wisseling linnengoed. Goed eigen restaurant in soort serre met prima eten, met een beperkte keuzemenu. Prima busverbinding. Halte op enkele minuten van het hotel en binnen 10 minuten bij de oude stad. Zeer hulpvaardig personeel, oa voor regelen transport naar en van luchthaven en regelen dagtrips. Rustige ligging hotel, beperkte winkelvoorzieningen in de buurt overigens. Minpuntje kamer was permanent draaiende airco die niet uit kon. Hotel zouden wij zo weer nemen, dus aanrader.

Arrivé à l 'hôtel en retard à cause d'une perte de valise la porte était fermée et sans l'aide d'un autre client je n'aurai pu accéder à ma chambre en souplex sans luminosité entouré par des murs. L'accueil était simpliste sans contact.Le petit déjeuner était copieux mais le m^me pendant 6 jours. Je trouve le rapport qualité prix très négatif et je déconseillerai de prendre la chambre 151 à ce prix. Seule la proximité avec ma famille habitant à côté a rendu ce séjour sympatique.

Not an Hotel, but a Youth hostel...
It's not an hotel, but a Youth hostel. Problably never refurbished or renewed since 30 years. it doesn't worth more than 50$ per night. No service at all, nobody stand at the lobby. Bathroom dirty and smells bad.

Nice little place for budget minded
The front desk person was nice when I checked in early, very pleasant. After that I was roughly asked a few times where my room was, it was slightly disconcerting but I got used to people wondering why I was in the building… The breakfast was nice, the lady working the breakfast was very pleasant and kind. The room was ok, I liked the small refrigerator. The bed was not too comfortable. The bathroom was large. The air conditioning was effective. The internet was non-existent. Another guest complained also he could not connect. The desk clerk reset but to no avail, impossible to connect. It was an issue that required more than just resetting his router. For two days I could not connect to their internet service….a lifetime in the year 2023.

chambre non conforme à la réservation effectuée.
Après avoir vu les avis positifs sur cet hôtel sur internet, je n'ai pas hésité à réserver 2 nuits ( 125 euros chacune) au mois de juillet 2023. A peine arrivée à l'hôtel directement de l'aéroport, la personne à l'accueil m'a dit qu'il avait une mauvaise nouvelle pour moi. la chambre qui m'était réséervée était sans fenêtre. Que c'était écrit sur le site (Faux, un mensonge ignoble) 125 euros pour une chambre sans fenêtre, il n'en est pas quesrion lui ai-je répondu. Voyant ma colère, il m'a proposé une chambre au -1 avec fenêtre. Et voyant que je ne décolèrais pas, m'a proposé une chambre au premier étage. Avec fenêtre. J n'ai jamais vu un accueil aussi lamentable dans tous mes voyages. est-ce que ce type s'est amusé de moi ? devait -il gérér un groupe et donc des chambres en plus à réserver? Tout cela est authentique. la chambre dans laquelle j'ai logé 2 jours, n'est absolument pas conforme à la photo. C'est trompeur. le moblier ets vieux, abîméer, les jointures du parquet , cracra. le bruit de l'air conditionné dans la salle de bain, (?) est très bruyant durant la nuit et fonctionne par intermittence. Les excaliers sont sals, la moquette crasseuse. Un seau et sa serpillère sale restée deux jours dans les escaliers. Publicité mensongeuse. Les 2 seuls points positifs: le petit-déjeûner copieux et l'accès facile en transport en commun. Je me demande aussi, si le prix ne varie pas , si l'on est du coin, du pays ou si l'on est touriste. A vérifier s'il vous plaît.

Some restrooms seemed not to be cleaned for weeks. We couldn‘t use our balcony because of the curtains, that couldn‘t be removed. In the garden were rubbish and damaged furniture or something like that. In general the bathroom was old and should be renewed. The night wasn‘t worth it’s price .

You get what you pay for
The room was small. Minimal. Noisy. Every sound in the hallway echoed. But the bed was comfortable and the bathroom was clean. The listing said free parking. There is no parking. However there was plenty of free parking in the neighborhood. I didn’t partake in the breakfast. There are lots of lovely coffee shops nearby.

It was very nice. Great location for our needs, incredibly friendly staff and very nice breakfast. Rooms are clean and adequate. This is not a luxury hotel by any means but perfectly adequate with a really charming atmosphere.

A Not-Funny Comedy of Errors!
Check-in was a nightmare of no personnel, followed by assertions that our reservation didn't include breakfast. (They eventually agreed to let us have breakfast.) The room was clean and the bed comfortable, but the property overall was shabby. Breakfast was adequate, but not on par with other modest hotels where we've stayed. On Saturday night, we arrived back at the hotel to find the door locked and no guests or employees in sight. (We did not have our phones with us, either, because this was immediately after the Sabbath had ended.) Finally, I called out to a couple that was strolling by, and they kindly took the time to help me phone for help. The employee who answered, who was physically at an affiliated property, said "You mean nobody gave you the code??" No, nobody had!

Little House in Baka is in a great neighbourhood full of cafes and nice areas to walk around. Convenient to many bus lines taking you to First Station and Old Town. Excellent water pressure in the shower. Good place to crash for a few nights if you don't plan on spending much time in the room but rather go out to explore. Room for improvement: - no breakfast at all at the property - staff largely absent from the property, and when there not overly interested in helping out - upon check-in I was told by the manager that he doesn't like the room I am in, but if I pay more he can upgrade me...the hotel wasn't full so why not upgrade anyway and give a better impression of your property? - property could do with an upgrade/modernisation/paint job/deep clean; the photos online are somewhat misleading as it's really a bit of a 90s time capsule - the bed was very short, and even though it was a double bed there was only a single duvet on it - sound insulation between rooms is not great, you can easily hear conversations in the corridors and neighboring rooms - the room was tiny; there's a desk but no space to move the chair far enough away to actually sit on it, and with more than one person this would be a pretty uncomfortable fit - WiFi didn't reach my room at all (but it works great on the terrace in front of reception) - like many things in Jerusalem, too expensive for what is offered
