'I've stayed at the Colonial Motel a couple of times, exploring the local area, hiking, kayaking. Places like the Colonial are increasingly rare these days. A welcoming and authentic place to stay- and it's the nicest building in town, refreshing pool, comfortable room, and a ten minute drive in several directions to recreation and decent food. '

'What a charming place! This motel is well-maintained, clean, and has such a cute atmosphere, perfect for a little getaway. The staff was so kind - we were greeted in the lobby by the owner (I believe?) and he was so incredibly friendly. The room was lovely and well-decorated - I especially loved the bedspread. And the pool is great as well. Would definitely recommend and would love to visit again! '

'Very nice place to stay. Staff very friendly and welcoming . Lovely breakfast baskets available (additional charge). Only improvement would be cleaning of room . We got a message while out asking if we would like the room cleaned that day with a circa 3 hour window that cleaners were available . We asked for it to be and unfortunately it wasn’t when we returned. Put it down to message system delays but think better system needed than this. Definately worth visiting though . '

'We were looking for a place to stay overnight and we would go back to Twin Gables of Woodstock again. The host, LeeAnn knows how to make a guest feel right at home. We stayed in Room 6, the Hippie Room and everything was perfect. Parking was easy though if the Inn is full, you may have to park in the street. The rooftop deck was great and everything - EVERYTHING - is walking distance. Our only wish-list item for the room is that we stayed longer.'
