The Ecolodge was a great place to start our day and a cool, comfortable refuge at the end of the day's activities.The location despite being in the Daintree was very accessble to tours, restaurants and shopping- for us. Ee recommend the Ecolodge without hesitation.'

All damage from the December 2023 “extreme rain event” have been repaired. Don’t hesitate to book. You can have breakfast and dinner at the hotel cafe. Otherwise, there are very limited restaurant options, and no markets nearby, so stock up before you get on the ferry, either at Mossman or Port Douglas....

'The double room with shared bathroom was clean and nicely decorated with rainforest pictures. Myal beach and Cape Tribulation beach were on walking distance. We got a good suggestion from the staff to eat at Whet (also walking distance) and had some good meals over there.'
