'Wauw, wat een leuke plek. We voelden ons meteen thuis toen we binnen kwamen. Alles ziet er zo gezellig uit. De kamer was super en het personeel was heel erg vriendelijk. Je kan koffie en thee pakken als je zin hebt en het ontbijt was heerlijk. Newport is ook heel gezellig. Echt een aanrader om hier naar toe te gaan.'

'A very nice hotel. Unfortunately we were in the Victorian Room, which is on the first floor right next to the main reception area and opposite the breakfast room. It was therefore very noisy and we could not sleep, especially after 7am. Thankfully we were relocated to a quieter room after two nights there. Avoid the Victorian Room if you are a light sleeper or like to sleep in. '

'Island House Newport was absolutely perfect. It doesn’t feel like a hotel at all, it truly feels like a home. The space, design, and attention to detail made it incredibly comfortable, especially traveling with our 1-year-old. Everything felt calm, private, and thoughtfully set up for a family stay. The staff were also incredibly friendly and helpful, which made the experience even better. We’ll definitely be coming back.'

'GREAT location. We walked to the ghost tour & art museum and athanaem, as well as meals downtown afterwards. Really caring, hardworking staff who went the extra mile. Kim made me a FULL dairy free breakfast both days, including homemade pancakes and french toast. I honestly really only expected like peanut butter on toast or dairy free milk for cereal in the morning as accommodation and was pretty blown away that she made these items separately for one person.
