'The entire staff was super polite and friendly upon arrival and when I checked out. They made the entire process super easy and stress free. I loved the space, it was in a very safe and in a great area with lots of restaurants/shops. The hotel was very clean and had free breakfast which was a great touch. I would absolutely book again!'

'I loved how unique the Shepherd's Run property is. My King room in the Manor was quite nice (comfy bed, big bathroom, huge walk-in shower). The breakfast buffet offered a nice variety of foods with slightly different variation both mornings. I'm looking forward to staying at Shepherd's Run again so I can try their own wine!'

'We stayed during the week and it was so quiet and private yet in the middle of an area that has tons to do. Close to beaches to walk the shore, restaurants, etc. We had great food on the property and enjoy the pool and grounds. Will return! '

This place was one of the more affordable options, and we were both really impressed with it! Check-in was quick and easy and the two queen bed room was incredibly spacious. There was a fridge and microwave as well, so this seems like it could be a great place for a longer stay. Normally, I like a firm mattress, but these seemed a bit hard for my taste. 'This place is a gem in the heart of Newport. Every year, I consider staying somewhere else, but we always end up coming back here. The staff is wonderful, and the waterview rooms are unbeatable.
