The location of the hotel was great, Newport was 25 minutes away, and the Scarbough Beach was 9 minutes ago.

This hotel is in a beautiful historic mansion on the ocean inlet and a is short walk to the oceanfront state park. The staff is helpful and eager to please, reminiscent of other top tier hotels. The massive oceanside lawn has many Adirondack style chairs to enjourage outdoor rest or socializing. There are indoor and outdoor bars that accomidate every taste even non-alcoholic...

'Stayed two nights on the first floor and loved the cleanliness and added touches the staff members provide (welcome gift bag, spa-style slippers!, flavored water, sangria, etc.). The breakfast was so good! We stayed at another inn in RI right before this stay and Mill Street Inn has the other beat. We easily walked to the Breakers, cliff walk, shops and restaurants in the harbor area. No issues with check-in or check-out, convenient parking. I would stay here again.'

The location was so perfect - we were able to walk to the Wharf area for activities and restaurants but also was far enough away from how busy that area can be on weekends. There is a coffee place just down the block but not really needed as the breakfast at the inn was delicious. The onsite parking was so convenient. Liz was so welcoming and made us feel at home. We were in the first floor room which had a huge bathroom and shower and the bed was very comfy. ...

'MY wife and I truly enjoyed our stay in a very nice 1-bedroom unit (#5) in early June. The location is superb, with virtually all of downtown Newport within walking distance. It was much more spacious than we expected, with comfortable furnishings, a very comfortable bed, fully functional kitchen, and ... surprise, surprise ... a functioning fireplace! And the garden courtyard entry was charming. Great place to settle in after a day walking around town, or all sorts of restaurants, bistros, bars...
