'There were boogers all over the walls, cigarette burns on the blankets, chewed gum stuck to the head board, dead bugs on the walls and floors and it looks like it's never been swept'

'The main complaint is that I reserved based upon the amenities that were NOT accessible. The pool and rooftop bar was closed for a private party. If I had known that, I would have stayed somewhere else. Don’t include an amenity that you are not going to honor. '

'I like the art the most at the hotel , the gazebos at the pool area, and the mirror in the room.'

'LOTS of codes to keep track of -- for the building, for your room, for the pool. We arrived early and were grateful to have our code updated so we could access our room (it did take a few tries). No staff onsite except for a housekeeper, so it all felt pretty impersonal. Our room had a mildewy smell and after an overnight thunderstorm there was water collecting on the windowsill -- the property manager did assure me they would address that immediately.'

'Pool as not available during our stay and we were told when booking that is was going to be. It's the only reason we chose this location. Mattresses were stained and filthy. Only one elevator was working there, making it difficult to get to and from the room, the wait times for the elevator were just not acceptable. Neither TV in our room worked and it was hot inside the hotel all weekend. And the front desk was little to no help, employees just didn't seem to care, they offered a $20 discount...

'Everything was great except we got there 2 hours before technical check in time and they wanted $75 to check in two hours early. Other than that, a top notch experience.'

'I'm so happy Dallas has a hostel and Bishop Arts is the perfect neighborhood for it. Checking in and out was super easy and straightforward. The entire property is clean and I saw housekeeping doing work every day and at different times to ensure cleanliness for guests. Parking was easy and plentiful. Lots of restaurants and shops to pop into within a mile.'
