Open woonkamer die u uitnodigt om te ontspannen in het elegante gevoel van dit appartement met twee slaapkamers en twee badkamers. Gunstig gelegen aan het water, 1 mijl ten noorden van de Juneau-Douglas-brug met prachtig uitzicht op Gastineau Channel, Mt. Juneau en Mt. Roberts en het centrum.

Eenmaal binnen de 1200 vierkante meter aan moderne luxe, kunt u in de verleiding komen om te genieten van de huiselijke sfeer en de omliggende natuurlijke schoonheid van binnenuit. Verrekijkers worden verstrekt om zeevogels, kale adelaars, zeehonden, walvissen, herten en berggeiten vanuit uw raam te bekijken.

De woonkamer, eetkamer voor vier en de keuken openen allemaal rechtstreeks naar een uitgestrekte tuin met patio's, perfect om te grillen op de gratis BBQ, spelletjes op het gazon te spelen of op te warmen bij de vuurplaats. Het strand en de kreek bieden rust voor de deur.

Een goed uitgeruste keuken is voorzien van massief glazen achterwand en kwarts aanrecht, roestvrijstalen vaatwasser en koelkast / vriezer, magnetron, elektrische vaste kookplaat / oven en vuilophaal allemaal met uitzicht op een kanaal.

Een opvallende schuifdeur verwelkomt u in de queensize grote slaapkamer en een eigen badkamer met glazen douche van vloer tot plafond en een inloopkast.

De gast koningin slaapkamer biedt uitzicht op het water met toegang tot de patio. De badkamer heeft een ligbad.

De bijkeuken wordt geleverd met een full-size wasmachine / droger en opbergkasten.

De gemeenschappelijke ingang is via een trap verbonden met de parkeergarage met 6 plaatsen. Eenmaal binnen leidt een extra trap naar de ingang van de unit. Er is een extra eigen ingang die naar de woonkamer leidt. (Beide ingangen hebben trappen nodig; tramoptie is echter op aanvraag beschikbaar om toegang te krijgen tot de gemeenschappelijke ingang.)

Verken het centrum van Juneau (1. 8 mijl) of Douglas (3 mijl) op gratis fietsen. Skiërs en ruiters zullen genieten van Eaglecrest Ski Resort op slechts 16 km afstand. Kom en ervaar Juneau's natuurlijke schoonheid, uitstekende keuken, rijke geschiedenis en voldoende winkels!

Comfortable and modern space in serene location

We really enjoyed our stay at the lower level condo. During our weeklong stay, it rained steadily the majority of the time, but when it wasn’t raining, sitting in the backyard and walking the beach was fantastic. There is a creek that runs along the property and we saw lots of fish during low tide, along with golden and bald eagles everywhere. Location is convenient by rental car or bike to downtown Juneau.

A great place to stay in Juneau

We loved our stay here. The kitchen was really well and thoughtfully stocked for cooking at home and the host even left us some great welcome presents. The beds were comfortable and all the amenities are new, modern and tastefully done. This place is right on the water and the wildlife and views of the mountains are stunning, we watched the eagles feeding on salmon a short distance from the back patio. Downtown Juneau is just a five minutes away from the house. The host is very responsive. We would definitely stay here again.

A very clean and quaint property with great access to downtown Juneau and Douglas Island. Amazing views of the channel. Great outdoor space. Not recommended for those who dont like stairs...49 stairs from the lower unit to the parking area. Pulling out of the driveway is a little tricky. Overall, a great property. Host is very communicative. We will be back.

Absolutely Perfect!

Peacefully location with eagles and hawks every morning to watch while drinking coffee, in fact one morning a deer came right to the window where i was sitting before making her way to the waters edge. This home is immaculate, furnished with all your needs. Host was attentive to anything that was needed, which was nothing. Location is perfect close enough to the hustle of downtown but far enough to get away. Our friends stayed in the upper unit which made it ideal for us. The decision to stay 9 days in Juneau vs a cruise was spot on, no regrets, just best memories ever!

Douglas Palace

This palace is beautiful, serene and peaceful which why I call it a palace. We had everything we need and Michael was a gracious host. We didn't know it had a tram and I called him and ask if my hubby could use as he's disabled and he told us how to use and he checked back in with us to see if we got it. Everything was located within minutes. I highly recommend this palace for your stay. I will come back as this place and Juneau was simply divine. Thank you so much. Douglas Palace. Beautiful Juneau setting

This is a fantastic property. New finishes, was exactly true to photos, very clean and well stocked. Views of magnificent mountains and Gastineau Bay all at once. Close to everything yet far enough away to be peaceful and quiet. Lovely smells of coniferous trees that surround the property.

Amazing Week

This was our first time in Juneau. We absolutely loved the city. And staying at this property made it even better. The location of the house was perfect - on the water, views of the mountains, and minutes from the city. I have travel extensively and often use VRBO. The inside of the house was beautiful and the host thought of every detail and amenity.

Great location right on the water to view eagles and other birds. The house is clean and ready for tour stay. We had a fantastic time! A few things to note, unless you rent the entire space, the house is partitioned, and you will have people above or below you. This is in the fine print, but I missed it. We were lucky as our ‘roommates ’ were great people. Will book again!

Pictures don’t do this property justice. Everything about the inside and outside of the property were exactly as the pictures show. Breathtaking views, extremely clean. Michael was very pleasant to work with and eager to help with any concerns we might have. We didn’t have any because everything was perfect!!!!!!!!!!!!! Phenomenal Stay!!

We had an incredible experience staying here! The property was spotless, cozy and had all the amenities we could have wanted. Not to mention the fantastic location (right on the water and less than 10 minutes from downtown Juneau) and unbelievable views! The property manager was extremely helpful and ensured we had everything we needed. He went above and beyond to ensure we were enjoying our stay and even gave us tour/restaurant recommendations. In all, we can't recommend this property enough! It was a wonderful home for the week!

This was a really great base to explore Juneau. We were able to watch eagles and otters from inside, and we even saw a seal! There is even a beautiful waterfall on property, contributing to the serenity, but getting to downtown was very easy.

Awesome Place To Stay!

I spent 33 days at this property while working in Juneau. The place was just like the pictures. Very nice inside with the most awesome views of the water and the mountains. Janell was an excellent host and made sure everything was perfect. The kitchen was well stocked with everything I needed to cook during my stay. The kitchen also had lots of counter space making it easy to help prepare meals. The beds were very comfortable, the bathrooms had lots of thick big towels and there was a lot of space for storage if needed. Everything was decorated beautifully. It was the most luxurious and comfortable stay I have had while ever staying in Juneau. I highly recommend this property if ever staying in Juneau. I hope to stay here again soon when I travel back. The location is near Douglas bridge so access to everything was close by. Janell also provided a nice complementary bottle of wine, thank you. The place was spotless when I arrived and the checkin was very easy. Thank you again Janell for providing a 5 star place to stay while in Juneau.

Exactly as pictured but no communication with owner

Unit is exactly as shown in pictures, however not user friendly. Owner did not answer emails advising what I needed to know before arriving, therefore we were never given the lock box code to get in. Within our party of 4, there were 2 General Contractor's, one of which is a real estate agent, which creatively, we figured out how to get in. Phone number listed in the VRBO site was non-working. The only way we reached the owner was to have a family member who lived in Juneau call her husband's office and leave a message to contact her new renters. She called the next day and said that she would have been too busy to show us how to get in anyway. Showers were difficult to use without getting water everywhere due to no shower curtain. No storage for personal bathroom items to be kept. Master bedroom had wafts of cat urine as well as in the living room. No outlets next to the bed in the master bedroom for electronics, but there were outlets on the wall at the foot of the bed, which made it very inconvenient. Refrigerator looks full size, but is very shallow and only has half the depth of a full sized refrigerator and does not fit most items. Washing machine lid fell on my head twice while trying to take laundry out as the spring that holds the lid up did not work. There were so many rules listed in her guest book that we were afraid to do much in the unit, which made it uncomfortable to stay in. There was damage in the unit in small areas that were minor, but we were worried that we would be blamed for them since we had no communication with the owner. We did receive our full refund as we left the unit clean and as stated in her guest book. Overall, it was a stressful stay, but we were there for a wedding and while we were touring the town or involved in the festivities of the wedding, we had a great time.
