'Tv didn’t work.. staff couldn’t even fix it '

'It was a place to rest my head, but not very inviting or comfortable. No comfortable chair to sit in except the desk chair, which leaned back so far I thought I would fall over. There were black ants all over the night stand. Saw two when I sat down. The next morning there were like 40 of them all over and in my glass of tea.😳'

'Room had a loud dripping noise coming from the bathroom ceiling vent all night, and the bathroom door would not close all the way to isolate it. My keycard didn't work the first time and I had to get it reprogrammed. I had no instructions given to me as to how to check out, and there was no drop box or the like for my keycards when I left before staff was there in the morning.'

'There was NO coffeemaker. Cabinets seem to be falling apart. Some of the pillows were ripped. Whatever floor cleaner they used was sticky. Had to pay extra to stream movies from my own device and a service I pay for? The property seemed a little sketchy.'

'Everything clean. Staff generally friendly but desk people need to greet whenever someone comes in and doormen need to open doors each time. Older doorman was great. Bartender is Richard excellent. Lots to do nearby '

'The parking was really easy and free! It was very easy to communicate with our hosts and they responded to everything we needed. It was a comfortable room and quiet. I wish our room hadn't been right outside the coffee making machine but it ended up that there was plenty of privacy. The location was perfect. '

'I stayed here two nights and it was super comfortable. I lived in a provided bathrobe basically the entire time I was on the property. It’s definitely quiet and for quiet guests as it’s an older property. I really enjoyed the charm and especially the proximity to the Nelson Atkins museum. My room had an adorable wood burning fireplace that is available for guest use but I opted for the radiator space heater that was in the closet. I was travelling alone and I mostly kept to myself but there...

'Overall, my stay was ok. It was a staycation, which was a bit of an issue because the pool was closed and the food at the restaurant is obviously all frozen. Strange hair on bathroom sink.'
