This home offers stunning Mountain and Beach views. Dolphins and seals often cruise past along the coast. The occasional whale can also be spotted for those with an eagle eye. Nestled right next to the beach with private access and still very central to Kaikōura.
Please keep in mind this home is a classic kiwi bach that comes with some character and usual wear and tear with Bach style accomodation. There is still plenty of good times to be had in this home with family and friends!
The home is simple and functional with plenty of space. A well equipped functional kitchen. Multiple living spaces, 50 inch smart TV + Netflix/Youtube/Freeview. Separate games room with a pool table, table tennis table, darts, board games etc.

Two Log fires keep the place cosy with plenty of wood stock piled. Please note: this is the only form of heating so it’s important you know how to start and maintain a fire.
A good size yard to kick a ball around or have a game of backyard cricket. Kaikōura is a fishing, diving and hunting Mecca!
You have access to the whole home.

The house is also located in close proximity to operational train tracks. You need to cross tracks to get to the beach.

Kitchen and dinning are upstairs and all bedrooms, plus bathrooms are down stairs.
We are pet friendly accommodation.
There are no parties or large gathering allowed at this property.

1 week of dedicated maintenance would do wonders. The walls were scuffed, furniture marked up, a hole in the wall, pool table has big cuts in it with missing cue tups, broom closet was dirty, some outlets that were present didnt work, bathrooms didnt have outlets, etc.View and location were nice, but dissappointed in what we were expecting. Place just seems run down compared to the other properties we stayed at on our trip.

Easter weekend getaway

We booked the property several months ago to accommodate our extended family stay (6 adults, 3 kids). The property is in a very handy spot- walking distance to supermarket, beach and local shops and cafes. Plenty of parking on site and gated property ideal for dogs and small children. Some aspects of the property were more rundown than the listing photos suggest, however the property manager was responsive to our messages and our group enjoyed their stay overall.

We flew over from Australia for a weekend in Kaikoura, fishing and diving The house was awesome, we could walk out the back and down to the beach for a cold plunge in the ocean to wake up, the house was spacious and had us entertained with games by night.we also enjoyed the fire place of an evening, the view of the ocean was a treat with dolphins and fish jumping all day
