    Stap in je eigen betoverende tropische schuilplaats! Ocean front op steenworp afstand van een prachtig strand en de lagune, dit prachtig gedecoreerd door een designer stad thuis wacht op uw komst. De belangrijkste woongedeelte is beneden, met inbegrip van nieuwe meubels met een slaapbank, een complete badkamer met betegelde inloopdouche, en een charmante eethoek in de openlucht (6) om te zitten en kijken naar de zonsondergang. Dit toestel beschikt over comfortabele meubels en inrichting, granieten aanrecht, tegelvloeren, en een volledig ingerichte keuken. Andere voorzieningen zijn: grote flatscreen-tv in de woonkamer, kingsize bed in de master, 2 aparte bedden in de logeerkamer, plafond ventilatoren in elke kamer, DVD, gratis WIFI, zowel binnen als buiten dineren, in-house wasmachine / droger en on-site community BBQ. VOIP telefoon met vrij lange afstand naar Noord-Amerika. Kahalu'u Beach Park ligt op 5 minuten lopen met een prachtig snorkelen. Tidepooling en het strand te spelen zijn op steenworp afstand van onze veranda. Oude Hawaiiaanse rotstekeningen zijn aan het einde van ons strand in de buurt van de gerestaureerde heiau.

We had a wonderful stay. Check in was easy and it was all incredibly peaceful. The waves could be heard from every room in the house and we spent a lot of time sitting outside on the lanai. It was nice to have a room with two single beds for our teens and the washer and dryer was an amazing feature. There were all the little amenities we needed to have a great stay for a week. Thank you!

The resort has a really good kid friendly pool. The unit was about a half mile from a safe snorkel beach than - the nearest beach was rocky and covered with sea urchins. But we did get to see several turtles right out our door.

Wonderful Stay at an Amazing Location

We had such a terrific first Big Island experience and this townhome made it even better. It had everything we needed and the location is amazing. Supermarket and restaurants a block away. Beach access within steps. Kahalu’u Beach just up the road with fantastic snorkeling. Property Management was communicative and made everything easy. We'll be back!

Nice place and view. On the small side but perfect for small families. Great pool and condo was well equipped. Only thing I could complain about was the parking spot. Bushes made it difficult to get in and out of car and I don't know why they are even there. But overall we enjoyed the condo and would recommend it

When making ice it dropped the 6 cubes all together instead of individually and all the ice seemed to be melted a bit like the freezer door seal wasn't shutting properly.

Perfect family vacation spot

This was exactly the vacation we were hoping for. Right on the water- sleeping to the sound of the waves, meals overlooking the ocean. The place is comfortable and had everything we needed. The shopping center a half mile away has groceries, drug store and good restaurants. (Bianelli’s is great, the Subway was terrible). We even used the urgent care in the shopping center. Nightly sunsets on the beach, an excellent pool in a safe, quiet complex. The rental agency was great to work with, and owners were super kind and helpful. This is the best unit in the whole complex when it comes to location. Under a tree for shade, but one of just a handful of townhouses that open up to the beach.

The main bedroom view is just wow! We love sleeping to the sound of the waves. It was a very comfortable stay for us, we loved the property. We didn't use the swimming pool but it looked very nice, the tennis courts were handy to get a couple of games in before it was too warm to play.The only suggestion I would provide is perhaps recliners in the living room to relax after a long day outdoors.

Cannot describe the feeling of listening to the ocean 24 hours a day!!! The ocean was right in our back yard and we enjoyed a sunset every evening from our lanai. We will definitely be back. Whole complex was well maintained, beautiful, pool clean, and loved all the Christmas decorations as well!! There was nothing we needed as supplies for beach to self care were provided. Thanks again for a wonderful vacation! The ocean views again were MAGNIFICENT!

Wonderful Oceanfront Townhome

This townhouse exceeded our expectations. Was a short walk down a path from the lanai to get to the beach. While it’s not a swimming beach, the tide pools are fun to look in and the sunsets were amazing. The townhouse is fully equipped with everything you would need. It does have air conditioning but we did not need to use it. The view from the master bedroom couldn’t be any better. The beds were comfortable. I did have to reach out to Knutson and Associates regarding an item that was left on the front porch by the housekeeper, they responded quickly and the item was picked up immediately. The entire experience was incredible and I hope to be back again sooner rather than later.

The shy geckos greeted us on the lanai each day. The property managers were very, very responsive and helpful from beginning to end. Falling asleep to the sound of the waves was so soothing and just what we needed after unpleasant weather at home. There are very nice restaurants not far away: Lava Java was our tops. Keei Cafe is also very good. For sunset watching, Sam Choy's at the top of Alii Dr is good. Huggo's on the Rocks is fun, but hard to get into later in the day. Making reservations using Open Table worked well for us.We'd absolutely love to return here and even stay longer. It was perfect for our family of 4 (parents & 2 teenagers). The "kids' room" was a comfortable size and having 2 full bathrooms was perfect. It is clear that the owners thought of everything from the hose and mat to rinse feet on the lanai to the spice/cooking cupboard, to the pots/pans, to the beach chairs and coolers. Fantastic breezes, comfortable furniture, great WiFi, easy to cook in kitchen, and generally quiet location/complex. Master bed was comfortable; bedroom furniture was all solidly constructed (nothing from Target or Ikea). Sheets were good quality.Everything was so clean -- exactly as pictured. Our only issues really had nothing to do with the care and attention the owners have put into their gorgeous condo -- the TV remote was buggy and we had some issues with the dishwasher (totally a Knudson issue).We will be back for sure!!

We watched the sun set from the lanai every night. We loved how quiet it was in this home - we could only hear the side neighbors when they and we were outside. And there are no upstairs neighbors since this is a 2 story townhome. There is a small beach only steps from the townhouse, and a great snorkle beach with sea turtles only a half mile away. The kitchen is well stocked with dishes and small appliances. The furniture throughout the home was very attractive, clean and looked new. We never needed to use the AC in the living room - the ocean breeze along with the ceiling fan created plenty of cool air. The ceiling AC units in the bedrooms worked very well and were amazingly quiet - we only used them on a couple of very warm nights. There were beach chairs, towels, beach umbrella, and a small beverage cooler for us to use. The pool, tennis/pickleball courts, and ping pong table were great also. The resort is meticulously maintained and looked upscale. Everything was extremely clean and new. We will definitely come back!!

Great home away from home

The Keauhou Kona Surf is an incredible place at a very good location about 10 minutes south of the heart of Kona. The location provides a good balance of proximity to restaurants and grocery stores but still being far enough away from the busy areas where you get the calm Hawaii ambiance away from the touristy crowded areas. The beautiful grounds are well manicured, parking is convenient (although the parking stalls are very tight), and the tennis courts and a ping pong table provide extra amenities not available at most resorts/condos on the BI. The unit is very nicely furnished, has excellent air conditioning, comfortable living room and bedrooms, and a very practical kitchen with an ocean view. However, there is no dining table in the inside space. Although the table setup on the lanai is nice, we don't always want to eat outdoors. The upstairs floorplan is also a bit unusual. We recognize the space is a bit constrained by the size of the building, but not having a true master bathroom connected to the master bedroom is also not ideal when you're on vacation. The 2-story layout provides great views from the master bedroom, but makes the floorplan of the overall unit a bit inconvenient. Although the unit was cleaned well, the owners should offer at least 1 or 2 mid-stay cleanings for longer stays.

We had someone come down with covid and needed to isolate them. So we needed another place for someone to sleep. I found that really also had no extra blankets or pillows. The place looks a lot bigger then it is but has a cool beach with turtles every morning. We rented another place in the same resort that had chairs, umbrella, ice chest, and much more. It was missing all of that. They have a wagon and a few beach towels.

Wonderful Quiet Beachfront Unit w/ Every Amenity

Reviewer Comments: As I write this, I just learned the complex suffered damage due to Hurricane Darby remnants, we hope everything and everyone is / will be okay.I would highly recommend Knutson & Associates and this unit. The condo was better appointed than most we have stayed in. The beach could not have been enjoyed w/o the umbrella and chairs (due to a medical condition); the fact that these items and a cooler were provided was one of the best aspects of the condo for us.The kitchen is extremely well stocked (lots of spices, pots, dishes, appliances, kitchen tools including those needed for the outside BBQ's), we like to cook and this unit really felt like home. I was a bit concerned about the dining room being outside, but that concern evaporated on the first day. Sitting outside was wonderful, the lanai is enclosed on three sides, never got too hot, and the resident geckos were so entertaining (the same four hung out with us the whole week and we began to realize they each have their own distinct personality).The unit was extremely clean, and the air conditioner worked great, we were very comfortable. The unit is obviously well cared for and very thoughtfully appointed.The property manager was one of the most helpful I've ever worked with and although I think (hope!) we were low maintenance, a couple of minor issues were attended to right away. Having a washing machine was great, and allowed us to not have to check luggage.The complex is quiet with a nice beach next door (partial sand partial volcanic rock, not swimmable). The pool is wonderful, and well maintained and clean. Very close to Kona, and we really enjoyed our two day trips to Hilo (waterfalls) / Mauna Kea on the Saddle, and Volcano National Park. I wouldn't hesitate to stay here again. We had an absolutely delightful vacation.

Lovely spot

The condo is in great shape and very clean with all the little touches that make it feel like home. The location is convenient to the sights but far enough away to be peaceful. Highly recommended
