Kahaluu Bay tegenover Snorkel Beach - Awesome Ocean View

Ideaal gelegen tegenover het strand van Kahalu'u Beach Park. Dit is een geweldige plek om te verblijven als je van snorkelen, surfen en zwemmen houdt. Zo niet, dan ligt het dicht bij al het andere.

Kahalu'u Bay is gemakkelijk toegankelijk, handig en met een goed onderwaterlandschap, het meest gebruiksvriendelijke Snorkelstrand op het eiland. Eenheid is groot en heeft recente upgrades gehad.

Het zwembad en de BBQ met uitzicht op de baai zijn een geweldige plek om te ontspannen en samen te komen na een dag verkennen en winkelen!

Incredible views from the balcony (top floor) and living/dining rooms of the rocky beach, waves, sunset. Owners were wonderful and communicative, they provided many ideas of things to do over text and in a binder. Everything very clean, modern, well-cared for. Walk to snorkeling where we saw tons of fish, turtles, etc. Also walk to surf lessons. Tons of beach gear included, well stocked kitchen, cleaning supplies, extras like ziploc bags and aloe. The backyard is wonderfully wild with trees, animals, lava tubes, etc. Lots of birds, tons of day & night geckos, cool bugs, frogs. There were no bugs/critters inside the house, only outside. If you're afraid of a little nature, you may want to stay in a hotel elsewhere. To get into the unit, you need to go up 3 floors of stairs outside, good railings and good footing. Covered assigned parking. Air conditioning was great. The AC is centralized, vents in all rooms. We need AC to sleep and it got nice & cool at night in both bedrooms. Bedrooms face the back which is nice to avoid the occasional street sounds (no ocean sounds, but you do get bug & frog song). Narrow two lane street and 1 row of houses separating you from the ocean, but the houses are so low they do not obscure the view. Having two bathrooms was great, both well laid out and modern. 10 min drive to downtown Kona, 5 min to grocery & a few restaurants, 10 min to the dock for manta ray tours, 15-20 min to restaurants outside touristy areas. Would return!

Duane I was positive communicative and very quick to respond if we had questions. I appreciate him so much and he and his wife provided an apartment that had all the things we could need from a boogie board to snorkel equipment to towels to portable chairs for the beach and it’s also a wonderfully equipped home Away From Home apartment with a good kitchen, Great mattresses, and the air-conditioning. Wonderful.

I can't say enough good things about this property. I have three teenagers and they absolutely loved it. It was clean and fully stocked with everything we needed. It was honestly one of the best Airbnb we've stayed in. The owner was great, and readily available for anything.The location is perfect, it has amazing snorkeling and a great beginner break to boogie board and surf. The property has everything there, which is amazing! I like it because it's not as crowded as some other spots. It's about a mile to the Kta and some restaurants.The pool is also very well maintained. We would snorkel during the day and then use the awesome grill and hang out at the pool.Another thing I didn't even realize is that it was air conditioned.The lanai is so nice. I loved having my morning coffee there and then watching the beautiful sunset at night.You really can't go wrong with this property!

We loved our stay at this property — the location was perfect and it had everything we needed for an incredible vacation. The condo is in a great location! Beautiful ocean views from the third floor. We enjoyed walking over to the best snorkel beach daily. All the beach gear was available at the condo to borrow. The condo was very well stocked with linens, towels and kitchen basics. The pool area is nice if you want a break from the ocean. Duane was easy to reach and quickly responsive to questions. Parking is on site. Condo is a bit dated but very comfortable. We would stay again.

The house had everything we needed during our stay. It was very clean and comfortable.The road in front was pretty busy but the speed was very low so we felt safe walking to the beach. It was fun watching the surf school from the balcony. Check in was very easy. I didn't realize we would not have an elevator but that was my fault for not checking. It worked out though.
