Heb je ooit gedroomd van een vakantie waar er niets tussen jou en de oceaan is, behalve een paar wuivende kokospalmen? Hier moet je zijn!
Word wakker met 180 graden onbelemmerd uitzicht op de oceaan vanuit uw eigen Lanai, bekijk de surfers op de golven, migrerende walvissen (in seizoenen) & dolfijnen of spot onze residente zeeschildpadden - er is geen reden om uw eigen stukje paradijs te verlaten.

Dit onlangs bijgewerkte penthouse met 2 slaapkamers en 2 badkamers heeft alles wat u nodig heeft voor een perfect verblijf. Geniet van uitzicht op de bovenste verdieping en privacy zonder trappen te hoeven lopen - dit complex heeft een lift. Sleutelloze toegang betekent geen zorgen meer over het verliezen van sleutels die naar het strand gaan. Andere in unit-gemakken zijn Wi-Fi-verbinding, kabel-tv, Bluetooth-luidspreker, airconditioning in de woonkamer en in unit wasmachine / droger.

Locatie: Vijf minuten rijden van Old Kona, de meest historische plek op de eilanden, en vijf minuten van het veilige snorkelstrand van Kahaluu en handige winkels en restaurants in het dorp Keauhou. Doe alsof u thuis bent in ons appartement voor uw vakantie terwijl u de elf microklimaten van het eiland, stranden met vele kleuren, de beste snorkelmogelijkheden in heel Hawaï, de koffieplantages op de helling van 's werelds grootste vulkaan en de adembenemende hoogten (letterlijk) verkent van de hoogste zeeberg ter wereld, de geschiedenis en bezienswaardigheden van de baai van Kealakekua, het schitterende uitzicht op de Waipi'o-vallei en de vurige gloed van Kilauea. The Big Island is een wonder van diversiteit dat bij elke bocht verrast en betovert, droog en uitgestrekt het ene moment, diepgroen en het volgende moment weelderig. Dit is de perfecte plek om het te verkennen, op slechts twintig minuten rijden van de luchthaven van Kona. Slechts één waarschuwing: het kan moeilijk zijn om jezelf los te trekken van de Lanai en de fascinerende bezienswaardigheden, geluiden en geuren die het presenteert!

This condo was absolutely perfect! The location is unbeatable, right on the beach with a top-floor ocean view. The lanai is huge and spans the entire condo; the photos don’t do it justice. We loved leaving the doors open at night to fall asleep to the sound of the waves and enjoyed unforgettable sunsets from the patio loungers.Inside, everything was clean and welcoming. Two bedrooms and two bathrooms gave us plenty of space, and the kitchen was well-equipped. Parking was easy and close to the stairs, and the short drive to downtown made it a great base for exploring Kona.The host was fantastic, clear instructions and quick responses to any questions. We couldn’t have asked for a better stay.

A beautiful ocean view and very comfortable condo. The elevator was a lifesaver and the kitchen with large refrigerator was very convenient. The church nearby is loud on Sunday mornings at 7, auwe, but the condo is fantastic. Great location and parking. We loved the air conditioning and outdoor lanai. The owner is very responsive. Had a very nice stay here near Kona. Unit was nice and clean. Everything we needed (although seemed somewhat odd not to have any shampoo or bar soap). Used the beach and snorkel gear which was nice to have.

Spectacular location, smack on the ocean, so fabulous views. The bed was great…so comfy, I had to ask for the brand name. Minor maintenance issues, but owner was aware and said they would be addressed. The decor, however, was tired and needs a refresh….sofa and chair in LR worn and uncomfortable. Not as was depicted in the ad. SO, I would stay again, but only IF I had assurances as to the decor which can make such a difference in overall experience.

Very nice property. Host was very kind and let us check in a bit early. Love having the bedroom next to the crashing waves. A little far from the elevator being on the forth floor. Might think about putting a little shampoo bottle in the bathrooms.

Beautiful view - holiday inn vibes

The view was phenomenal! The pics are accurate but the they don’t show that it was pretty dirty and dated. From the elevator in the the middle of the property the condo is about a football field away so be prepared to walk. The elevator was broken one day and closed for repairs, we had a mobility challenged person who had to navigate stairs. Overall the interior of unit was one level below a holiday Inn. Needs professional paint & clean including walls and baseboards and door handles and light switches and fixtures, and a place to put luggage ( like a luggage rack). Again the view was amazing!

Family Get-A-Way in Paradise

Great condo with spectacular ocean views. Condo was clean and well furnished. The family enjoyed our 10 days in paradise. It was relaxing waking up to the sound of gentle waves crashing onto the lava rocks. Evening sunsets were gorgeous.

Misleading for the price

Be cautious when considering this unit, as what you see in the photos does not accurately represent reality. The furniture is entirely different — gone are the recliners, and now the living room seats three. Gone is the pictured artwork, leaving primarily bare walls. Priced among the luxury units, it has no amenities, such as a stereo or a radio. It's sparsely furnished and stocked, necessitating we bought kitchen linens and coffee mugs. The primary bedroom is part of the living room with a thin partition not shown in the photos. The second bedroom was habitually hot from poor airflow, receiving no AC. The AC is not central, but a window unit in the living room. The condo complex is small and old. Some parts of this unit have been "updated" but done minimally and cheaply. Overall, we paid for a luxury unit and received a budget one. The unit did not live up to our previous VBRO experiences.

The location was ideal for us, and was a beautiful view! We had a great stay, the property was clean, well organized and the check in was easy. Pool looked clean and refreshing, although we did not have an opportunity to utilize it. Our only want, a bit more of a selection of pots/ skillets, and cooking utensils… but everyone is different. We would definitely recommend and would visit again if our travels bring us back to the area.

FIrst, the things we loved about the property. You could not get any closer to the ocean. The lanai had a straight on view with beautiful sunsets and a small beach. The condo was very clean, and the mini split A/C was very much appreciated as it was unusually hot and humid. The beds were comfortable, and the fans helped keep us cool. Despite some of the comments below, I would probably stay there again. Location was a plus. There was one elevator that went to the 4th floor, which was helpful. They were having a bee problem about half way to our room. We had to do a lot of duck and cover at that area.The building was a bit dated and the condo could have used a fresh coat of paint. If you want to spend any time on the lanai to enjoy the view you will have to turn off the air as the A/C unit outflow will blow very hot air on you. (This was a minor problem: As long as the mini split was turned off when we were out there.) The photos made the place look a bit larger than it actually was. The couch could use an update also. The view was worth the price. Could have done without the bees, but that is not the owners fault. All and all it was a nice place to stay.

Wonderful Ocean Front Unit

The listing was very accurate. We really enjoyed the unit. The period we were there had high temp and humidity. The combination of the A/C and fans cooled the unit down, even after we had been out (we turned the A/C off when we went out). Please note we did not use the 2nd bedroom. The view is outstanding. Nothing between you and the ocean. The lanai is huge (I figure it's 8 feet deep and 22 feet wide). It gives lots of area to sit. We spent a lot of time out there with coffee, a book or just watching the waves and sea turtles in the reef and cove. The unit was very private. We didn't hear anyone around us, even though they were there. During the day you did get some road noise but I didn't notice it while sleeping. The unit was very clean. The flooring is good on the feet and the lack of carpet helps. Kitchen is well laid out and has all the equipment you could use. The location worked well for us. Two or three small beach areas on the property (the one in front of the unit is great when the tide is coming in). 15 minute walk to Magic Sands beach and 10 minute drive to an even bigger beach. 20 minutes from the airport and 5-10 minutes to old town Kona. The unit has a keyless entry which was very appreciated. The building has a pool which we didn't use. We did use the onsite "Da Poke Hut". Very fresh.

The location of the property was amazing! The set up of the unit was very nice however, the one ac unit did not serve the entire unit at all. It was super hot even in the main bedroom which the ac unit was nearest. The second bedroom never cooled off the entire stay which was very disappointing when trying to sleep.

Great Honeymoon Stay

Carolyn's place was fantastic! My husbad and I stayed at her condo for a few nights and were very impressed with the location, amenities, and the cleanliness of the space. Don't forget about the views! It was so enjoyable grabbing a cup of coffee in the morning and sitting out on the balcony. We even saw a turtle one morning. We highly recommend Carolyn's place and will most definitely be staying there again when we come back!
