We rented this condo almost a year before arriving.We turned on the A/C to cool things down a little. After while it became too cool but the A/C did not shut down by itself so we had to manually turn the unit off.Only 2 trash bags for a months stay and no laundry soap starter. In the kitchen we flipped the light switch but the kitchen light would not go on, a bad receptacle/switch. We informed the owner about the A/C unit not working properly, she commented that she knew about the problem, but it was too old to be fixed. She said she would send someone over to fix the faulty electrical switch in the kitchen, no one came over to fix the faulty electrical circuitWe informed the owner that we will just have to live with the broken A/C thermostat, during sleeping hours but we had to get up and adjust the temperature to be comfortable, a pain. Not fixing the possible faulty electrical switch is a red flag.The condo itself is ok, the highlight is the balcony, sunsets can be viewed while having dinner or a drink. The bathroom is nice; the kitchen is functional. It was quiet at night despite being so close to Alii Drive, a plus.Checkout instructions need change. The bedding, etc. had to washed and folded before the 10am departure, not sure what the maid has to do.We are disappointed that the owner knew the A/C thermostat was faulty, but it was not included in the listing.Things need to be fixed properly (a/c. light switch) before staying here.
