'Being just meters from the beach and shops, this place is ideal. Good views, beds very comfortable, kitchen clean and bathrooms roomy, I would highly recommend staying here. Good communications with the host!'

Still we would not choose to stay here again, because the couple who manage the place showed very little flexibility and sense of service when they denied our request (that we put in after one day) to cut our stay at the hotel short from four to three nights. 'The Rocks is a hidden gem, a plethora of flowering and fruiting plants, whimsical touches, a glow worm grotto and very engaging staff. If anything wasn't in your chalet, there was a common cooking and laundry area. Not only did we use some things, we shared some of our extras. So much better then thowing some things in the rubbish!'

'Lovely peaceful location just outside Mapua on the ocean. We loved the privacy, the space inside and out and the comfortable bed. All the amenities needed for an extended stay were provided. Host was very helpful to answer any questions. We like the location for day trips to Abel Tasman area.'
