I was pleasantly surprised at how clean the room and facilities were. The room was a little smaller than some other hotels, but for the price it met all of our needs and was a good choice for a stay. The breakfast had alot of variety and was tasty. The check in was easy and quick and staff was polite. My only complaint would be that there has only 1 washcloth and 1 hand towel left in our room. Plenty of bath towels were already present though.

Check in waa smooth, room was clean, bed was comfy, very nice and hot shower. The desk staff was great when I needed a few extra things. Breakfast had a good selection and was tasty

Breakfast was lacking. The surfaces are not kept clean during breakfast. The floor in front of the juice machine was sticky from a spill for 3 days. We left a day early so don't know how long before it will be cleaned. The bed was so uncomfortable we could not get a full nights sleep. I brought the THICK layer of dust on the ledge behind the bench seating in the dining room to the managers attention, she thanked me saying she was glad I had let her know about it. It was still filthy when we left 3 days later. When we left one morning, the entire floor in front of the doors had been mopped with no floor wet floor sign. There is no training or accountability by management. Staff had meeting in front of the building one morning and they also stand right outside the door on their breaks and smoke. Over all a very disappointing stay.

Very Nice and Comfortable
We stay at a variety of hotels whenever we travel and we travel a fair amount. This hotel is one of the best, all-around offerings at the mid-price point. No frills but what anyone would expect.

If your interested in a step up from Motel 6..at a Marriott pricetag then this would be the place for you. (No judgment) Terrible customer service skills were displayed by General Management. This is what the world has come to? What happened to the hospitality field? I'll stay home and spend locally! No wonder the local area is a circus. Sad state of, affairs going on in Kalamazoo! 😞

The check in was slow and our key didn’t work 2 times. They need more check in help to speed up the process. The breakfast was just ok. Very slow putting things out and providing coffee. The hallway carpets looked new. The room was aged but nice.

When I arrived for check-in, there were 3 people waiting in line ahead of me, and the front desk person was on the phone with what I assumed with a disgruntled guest - FOREVER! My point being, there should have been someone else available to assist her. Secondly, my room's bathroom only had 1 bath towel and no soap at the sink. The only soap was the body wash in the shower. When I made my reservation, I did indicate there would be 2 guests.

For starters there is a rusted out trashed truck in the parking lot. My colleague that comes there once a month says its been there for as long as he can remember. A homeless person is sleeping in his car. I only know this because the front left tire is completely flat and he was in it eating breakfast in the mornings when I went to visit my clients. The layout of the breakfast area is just plane stupid you have to walk 20 feet from where the quality paper plates and crappy plastic forks are stored to the serving area. Quality of food does not match the price paid or for a business class hotel. The room was ok. However the Thermostat would not allow you to set to cooling so the room was rather warm. Over all the price paid vs quality of room was just disapointing. I have had much better rooms in Hotel 6 for 2/3rds the cost.

Nice Staff!
There was still garbage in the trash can but the hotel and the staff were awesome! Was hoping for a better breakfast but it was at-least something. Good location centra to the interstate was easily able to walk to the wings center for the concert!

Stayed 3 nights, room was never freshened, nor any items restocked. Called when I came back my last night and they offered to bring more towels (which I had plenty of) and no other solutions to the issue.

I brought my son so that we could have a get away and have a pool to enjoy. Only to find out that the pool was closed. Apparently, there were a few students that were staying at the hotel for a wrestling tournament and someone splashed water on an alarm which triggered the fire alarm. We were in our room at the time and had to evacuate the hotel because the alarm was triggered. As a result, the pool closed. Even though that was one of the main features that we paid for, this amenity was now off limit to us. Secondly, we were told that breakfast ends at 9:30 AM on Saturdays. Once we got downstairs at 8:50 AM we were told by the staff that they are shutting down breakfast. Again, another amenity that we paid for that we were not able to get the full benefits of. Lastly, the manager brought her dogs into the hotel and they stayed during the duration of our stay. They were not service or therapy dogs. Another employee just informed me that the manager gets to do what she wants to do and she wanted to bring her dogs in so the dogs came in with her. I understand that there was a power outage in other areas but to have to listen to the dogs barking throughout the night was a bit much.

The hotel needs to make it easier to extend a visit - do they not want the extra business? A guest should not have to go down to the front desk just to get another key made. Hotel staff should have key delivered, along with a refresh on linens, if needed. Also - they are RIGID about check out time here - more so than anywhere else I’ve stayed. And I know they weren’t sold out so what was the big deal?

Yuck.. for a newly renovated hotel they missed a lot.. the first room we had the wallpaper was curling up, the pillows are nothing..BRING YOUR OWN!!!, the pool is TINY says 28 but no way could 28 people comfortably be in the pool.. we wanted to leave but the OWNER refused to refund us so we felt like hostages.. unless you are handicap there are NO TUBS all walk in showers, and our shower head was grimy.. our purpose in going was so that our 5 yr old daughter could spend time with one of her besties that lives 3 hours away as a Christmas surprise.. the pool was COLD so not much time in there
This is not a zoom this is normal small 3ft 6 to 4 ft 6
The shower head in the room looked grimey..

They shouldn't be in the hospitality business!
When you are in the hospitality business or any business for that matter you need to say Yes to customer requests as fast as you can. They were fast at saying NO. Most of the employees should not be in the hospitality business.
