My flight arrived at midnight and travelling alone as a young female, I was very happy that they had sent along another female staff to accompany me back to the hotel. That was very thoughtful. 'The staff at the Grand Imperial Hotel in Kampala are both professional, kind, and helpful, whether work for housekeeping, in the dining room, reception, or management. I was able to get some R & R after roughing it in the interior, at a very reasonable price, with good food, a comfortable room, space to read and write, and special touches when I asked, like a water kettle for instant coffee in the room.'
