'Entrance to the accommodation was not easy to locate as I passed at least thrice before figuring out where it is. The front desk closes at 6pm and there isn’t a lift so beware not to carry too heavy. The stack where my room is not soundproof and was offered a family room upgrade on a different stack. Overall the stay was pleasant as it’s right in the middle of the new town and a tourist attraction with lots of local coffee shops. The room was rustic but clean with pleasantly strong air...

'Het verblijf in The Banjaran Hotsprings was veel meer dan een paar hotelovernachtingen; het was een belevenis! Minder plezierig waren de grote hoeveelheden muggen. Gezien de muggenplaag besloot het hotel de muggen uit te roken. Met een machine werd het resort in een chemische rookwolk gezet. Wij kregen 15 min van te voren te horen dat we of weg moesten gaan of binnen moesten blijven. Dit was echt een overval!'

"Het hotel lag verder uit het centrum en bij bezienswaardigheden dan verwacht. Op de website staat 300 meter van perak temple, maar dit is 3.5 km (anderhalf uur lopen). Kamer was niet echt schoon: veel stof en tegels van wasbak vol schimmel. Ding waar wc rol in zit helemaal verroest. Douchekop op badkamer sproeide tegen de tegels op ipv naar beneden. Airco staat alleen op 16 graden, springt terug als je dit wilt verzetten. Ontbijt is voornamelijk rijst etc en dit is koud. Wel lekkere koffie. Pluspunt is wel de gratis selfservice laundry, alhoewel het hier heel druk was. "
