We got the comfort we wanted and had a nice time in Penang. I do have to mention that the room needed a little touch up here and there. But overall we loved our stay in this hotel and we would deffinately book again. '

Wij waren hier eind mei, Georgetown was toen wat uitgestorven, daardoor waren niet alle restaurants etc open. Gelukkig is er genoeg te zien en te doen.

'Incredibly unique property that used to be an old herb shop now tastefully refurbished into a boutique hotel. They kept all the old stuff from years past on display, and while it had modern amenities it still maintained that old charm. Highly recommend!'

At first we weren't sure if we were entering the lobby or an antique shop but once we were inside we were greeted warmly, our suitcase was whisked upstairs using an ingenious rope pulley, and we were immediately immersed in a place where every single piece of decor was clearly carefully considered to fit within the antique style.

"The time spent at Ozo was wonderful. The room is spacious and bright with the light colored furniture and carpet. The infinity pool on the 22nd floor is a great relieve from the heat and crowds after walking around and discovering George Town.
The breakfast buffet is strongly oriented towards savory dishes and not so many options for a more western style breakfast apart from sweet pastries and very little yoghurt. I had a hard time to stomach the hearty breakfast.
I missed the sustainable promise of not changing the towels daily. We left the towels to dry on the hook, yet the towels were refreshed daily. Not really a necessity and kind of waste.
Yet overall we were very happy with choosing Ozo and it made our sty in George Town a very pleasant one. Just a block from all the touristic hotspots but away from the crowds!"
