'This accommodation is located around 15-20 min walk from the "hart" of Moalboal including the closest beach. It is an easy walk, or if more preferred, a motorbike or a tuk-tuk ride. The place was kept clean and tidy and the communication with the staff was very easy. They were very helpful with all the questions I had and one of the receptionists has greatly helped me on my last morning when I was heavily mistreated by some of the scam "taxi services". 'Our stay at the Backyard Inn was nothing short of a nightmare. The experience felt like actually sleeping outside with the chickens. The pod smelled of chicken waste, the sink didn’t drain, and the noise was unbearable—constant chicken noises, roosters crowing, and no peace or quiet to rest. We couldn’t wait to leave. The only saving grace was the staff, who were friendly and helpful, but that does not make up for the dreadful conditions. I would never stay here again. Avoid this place unless...
