'Unfortunately there was a ton of loud construction going on. The pool with the waterfall that we would’ve liked to use had loud construction going on, so for us it was unusable. We did use the other pool it was small but fine. The rooms are nice but have a bad lay out everything faces the wrong direction. Furniture should be placed to view the ocean not the TV. Balcony was not out front like a normal balcony. It was tucked in making it uncomfortable to use with no breeze. The room looked clean...

'Beautiful location! Could use some TLC in the hallways that feel cold and some touch up throughout that make it look dated and not taken care of. But you’re not there for baseboards and hallways so I am splitting hairs! Location is stunning, staff remarkable and attentive, and plenty for kids to do.'

'Great property very close to everything'

'Went for our honeymoon and the Whaler didn’t disappoint. The room was clean and set up pretty well. The communication and follow up was the best I’ve experienced, we wanted to experience a bunch of local spots and the staff was extremely nice and helpful. The location is perfect. Very centralized to snorkeling, pool, or the ocean. A bunch of good food in walking distance and even some others for a short drive. Was able to whale watch from the room and a short walk to black rock we seen dolphins....

'Pros: The unit! Cable TV like CNBC & Bloomberg, ice machine, pool noodles/snorkel gear, cantenes for day trips, high end kitchen applances and supplies, good mattress. Cons: Undisclosed fees I was asked to pay upon checkin even when I messaged hotel/mgmt/owner? on Expedia platform weeks before to doublecheck and was told no additional $! It should clearly state "pay at property $xx amount" like my other expedia bookings. Expedia resolved it after escalation.'

'Nice, but too far from restaurants, bars and shops. You have to go to Lahaina for that '
