It was amazing! Things to do they had outdoor activities. Enough stuff to keep all the kids occupied! We plan on renting again in future! The nature itself was enough. Everything we needed to be comfortable like we were home.

Close to main streets in Blue Springs, but felt like we were in a secluded wooded area. The Barndo was clean, the beds were comfortable, and nice open living room into kitchen area to hang out in. Enjoyed walking the trails to the creek. The wifi is spotty, and an issue we encountered the host tried to fix quickly. Just 5 mins down the road was a great taco restaurant and brewery that was a fun outing. Overall we enjoyed our stay.

This is the coolest “cabin” I’ve ever stayed at! The living part of the building is beautifully done! The garage area was perfect for the kids to play! And the property is amazing! We thoroughly enjoyed the stay - it was the perfect atmosphere for our family “reunions and new beginnings” trip! Looking forward to booking again in the future!The only con I should mention is the spotty internet and phone service. Not a big deal to us but might be to others.

Nice place for trip with dogs

The place was as advertised and worked well for what we needed. The kitchen was well stocked and the layout was nice. The internet was inconsistent at times. The bed on the main level was too soft for my personal preference. Overall it was a nice place and provided all we needed for our trip. I appreciate that dogs are allowed, as we travel often to dog events. I would book again in the future, if we are in the area.

Nice retreat

Very nice property. Grandparents liked the "off the path" location; kids were fine with it as they are not the Disneyland type. I would recommend for families. Suggestion to have a few board games in the cupboard. Overall, enjoyed our stay. Proximity to KC very convenient.

Granddaughter’s Graduation

The “barndominium” experience was amazing! The home is beautiful and the grounds are so peaceful and relaxing. The host was very accommodating and easy to communicate with. Our first VRBO trip and I appreciate that it was user friendly with easy to follow instructions and directions. Our host truly provided the comforts of home thinking of everything that could be needed. Thank you.

Peace and quiet

Exactly as advertised. Very clean and everything needed to set up house for a few days. Atmosphere in and outside complimented each other. The proximity to amenities(restaurants, events, civilization) was close enough while still having a “getaway” feel. As mentioned in other reviews, the internet could be challenging-tough if wanting to stream a movie at night or bad weather, but not the end of the world. (First world problem). The host could probably have the clean team check remote batteries? As some were dead and/or corroded. Again, first world…I would stay again though.

Great place to relax with dogs.

We were visiting for a family wedding in the area. There were six adults and two dogs. We really enjoyed the space of the property, all the natural areas, the cleanliness and it was well equipped for anything we needed. It was also a very quiet location. Our kids enjoyed the games in the garage on the day that it was raining. Our only issue was that the Internet was very spotty. Also, tall adults need to be careful about the headspace in the upper bedrooms. We will definitely stay here again when we are visiting our newlyweds who live in the area.
