Ons appartement heeft een volledig uitgeruste keuken, 1 slaapkamer en 1 complete badkamer. De slaapkamer heeft een queensize bed. Er is ook een uittrekbare slaapbank in de woonkamer. Het zijn zeer ruime eenheden. De eenheden zijn volledig gevuld met beddengoed, handdoeken en alle keukenbenodigdheden en apparaten.

Het resort ligt in de historische stad Kapaa, Kauai. Je kunt 's ochtends de zonsopgang boven de Stille Oceaan vangen of tijdens het trekseizoen zelfs walvissen zien. Het resort ligt op loopafstand van restaurants, boetieks, winkels en supermarkten.

De badkamer is ingericht met starterzeep, shampoo en conditioner, samen met een föhn. Er is ook een strijkijzer en strijkplank in de eenheid.

Het Pono Kai Resort heeft veel voorzieningen op het terrein. Tennis, basketbal, fitnesszaal, shuffleboard, paardenschoenen, minigolf, croquetbaan, bordspellen, om er maar een paar te noemen. U kunt fietsen naast de deur huren en wij zijn gelegen op 5 minuten van alle wateractiviteiten; kanovaren, kajakken, surfen, enz ...

Er zijn BBQ's verspreid over het resort en wasfaciliteiten bevinden zich in elk gebouw.

De Pono Kai is een geweldig resort waar u echt kunt ontspannen en genieten van alles dat het Garden-eiland Kauai te bieden heeft. Ga voor alle activiteiten op het eiland naar de conciërgebalie of online BestKauaiTours. com om excursies te kunnen instellen voordat je aankomt. We faced the pool-only issue is that there is a really bright light in the pool area that shines into the living area at night-so closing the curtains at night is a must. The grounds are beautiful and the views of the mountains very lovely. Room was clean, very nicely decorated, quiet.

So comfortable and beautiful. We will definitely come again. If you are planning to go to the onsite gym, it doesn’t open before 8…maybe it was 9. I can’t remember. I’m an early morning worker-outer, but the walking path right out front, along the beach was AWESOME!

This property was clean and updated. However, there were a few issues. First, the pool was not open when we were there. I feel this is something that should have been communicated before our arrival. Second, it is not on the beach or within walking distance of a beach. There is a path behind the property where you can see the ocean, but that is all. When we arrived, and I asked about the beach, the front desk guy looked at me like I was crazy. He said you couldn't swim there, and we would need to drive 45 minutes to the beach. He made no mention of a beach within walking distance, so if there is one, we didn't find it. There was a beach that I think you could get to by walking, maybe 15-20 minutes down the path; however, I didn't see anyone swimming there. It also looked a little sketchy. On the positive side, this forced us to get out and explore. The last thing I would note is that the bedroom does not have AC. There is a unit in the family room/kitchen, but when we arrived, it was warm in the unit, and there was a big fan in the bedroom. I was told this is how all the units are. It did cool down and wasn't as warm after we had the air on for a few hours. I think the resort should have turned the air on earlier than they did for our arrival. All in all, the place was nice, but I was very disappointed in the pool and beach access.

It was great!! We were there for our granddaughters graduation. So very convenient. Our daughter lives in Kapaa, that was walking distance. The room was excellent, with everything you needed. Had five other family members stay with rooms as well. Enjoyed the pool with all the games, great for family and kids. I would love this same room again. Thank you for providing a great stay.

Great Location with Beautiful Views, Minor Room Issues

We really enjoyed our stay in Kapa’a! The location was fantastic, just steps away from the water and right along the scenic 8-mile trail. The unit had everything we needed, and we especially loved the balcony where we could relax and watch the waves.There were a couple of minor issues to note. We experienced some torrential rains during our stay, and one window leaked each time. Additionally, the room we stayed in was one of the older units that hadn’t been updated yet, and the floors were quite noisy.The air conditioning didn’t quite reach the bedroom, but we found that opening the windows helped keep the space comfortable. Overall, we had a wonderful time and would recommend this place for its location and amenities!

I loved the staff they were super helpful and friendly but I didn’t like that my room wasn’t ready when we got there. It took them 1 1/2 for our room to be cleaned and ready but when we got in our room smelled so clean and fresh.

Family and friends Trip

Our room was amazing! Had a garden view as well as a spectacular ocean view! We occupied 6 rooms, and all were great! Clean and comfortable. Loved that we could get a new beach towel everyday :) The pool was amazing as well. They have so much to do there on the property, and lots of games you can borrow! Fun for all! Can't wait to go back!

The grounds are nice and staff was courteous. The room was fine with the exception of one pivotal item. The air conditioning is not sufficient to cool the bedroom and it was hot. I am a firefighter from the desert where it is very hot, so its not like we cannot take heat. This is a known problem as we spoke to others there and they had the same experience with the one bedroom units. We tried opening the windows at night to get outside air, but all of the bedrooms face the common walkway and our neighbors smoked marijuana every night and it would waft in the room and there wasn't enough air movement to cool off anyway. There was a portable fan there, and we placed it in the hall to try and direct some of the air conditioned air in the bedroom, but it was still uncomfortable at night. The complex needs to have an additional head unit for the AC in the bedroom. Everything else was ok, location is convenient for the island. This is my 7th time to Kauai, so I feel I have a decent data set for where to stay-if you like to be comfortable at night give this one a miss.

Amazing vacation

We will be coming back as this place has everything. We stayed 22 days and the staff are great. Lots of places walking distance from condo. The beach out front is great. You can rent chairs, snorkeling gear , coolers and more. Lots of fun stuff to do on sight also games and have a pool.

Nice!

Love the restricted ocean view and the sound of waves crashing onto the beach. Condo is very close to the beach, but waves at the time were too rough for swimming. But no problems, there are other beaches with much calmer water a short drive away.
