The location was incredible and communication with the owner was great. The only thing that was not top notch was the air conditioner. It didn't always cool down and was a bit noisy. I think it just needs a bit of work or perhaps replaced. Islander on the Beach has beautiful grounds and is very quiet! It was a great stay!!

Beach was really close Vrbo host should include property map and condo location so you can go straight your unit still a great stay would definitely stay again sometime also door code was not set at check in time which was a hair annoying but was taken care of pretty fast

Thoughtfully updated with welcoming touches. Amazing Bed, pillows and bedding. Robes. French press coffee pot. 50 steps to the beach with ocean views from the patio which is alsoGarden setting and quiet/private unlike the oceanfront units

This unit could use a little TLC. Some outlets flickered and only worked sometimes. Some outlets were completely out of the wall. The outside table was completely rusted over and the chairs legs were rusted. The shower curtain has some mold on it which was off putting, the shower also wasn’t very clean when we first got there. Some hair was found in the shower and we hadn’t used it yet. The AC was okay. The outside portion of it is completely rusted and worn, falling apart, and probably needs replaced for the AC unit to function at its fullest potential. It kept it cool enough because we ran a fan (unless it was a humid day) but could have been colder. Overall the location on the unit was good, close to the parking lot, very close to the beach and the pool. Some restaurants nearby and a coffee shop that had good coffee.

Clean Condo in a Perfect Location

Convenient ground floor condo situated in a beautifully landscaped property. The unit was clean and had all the amenities we needed. I appreciated having the bathroom toiletries provided as well as the boogie boards and beach umbrella. The location on the island was very centrally located making trips down to Poipu or up to Hanalei easy. While at the condo we founds the location perfectly located to Coconut Market Place. Just a five minute walk, we were able to grab a coffee every morning and there were plenty of shops and places to eat. Lava Lava Beach Club was just across the way and was a lovely way to end the day. Free parking was definitely a plus and we never had any issue finding a spot. Great place. We would definitely stay again!

Good location

You could pull out chairs on the lanai and see the ocean and that was the best thing about this condo. Didn’t have a coffee pot just a press, ran out of toilet paper and hand soap. Contacted host and he said to buy some at ABC and he would reimburse which I did. He did put it back to our credit card but haven’t stayed anywhere that I ran out of things.

Property was listed as 1 bedroom suite, When we arrived it was a studio. I talked with other guest and was told all units were studios and no 1 bedroom units were available. Very misleading. We were not happy. Host said property listing was under VRBO, I called VRBO and they said host did listing. We were not happy Check and verify before renting.

It was a great time spending the week in Kapaa! The unit was floor level with a beach view from the patio and only steps to the beach. The location was great with direct access to the boardwalk along Kapaa beach and was able to take advantage of the property's amenities. The unit is also just steps away from Lava Lava club and other great places to hang out and grab a drink, some food and coffee. Would recommend to anyone looking to stay in the area and just relax with having direct access to the beach, dining and shopping. A bike rental can go a long way in that area as you can get all the way up the coast or into the heart of Kapaa from the property very easily. Thank you for the great stay!

Convenient, affordable, and a great location!

We stayed 9 days at Islander and had a great experience. The location was central to all our activities on the island and there was everything we needed within a 5 min walk. The room was clean and we had a partial ocean view from the lanai. The owner promptly responded when we had a question and the pictures well represent what the room looks like. We would definitely stay here again next time we are in Kauai.
