Fijn huisje, lekker zwembadje. Er waren wat renovatie bezigheden wat iets overlast bezorgde, maar daardoor zag het er wel piekfijn uit! Restaurant is minimaal, maar genoeg restaurants in de buurt. Prachtig uitzicht.

Kleinschalig hotel
Hotel dient wel gerenoveerd te worden. Met name het houten dek bij het zwembad. Kamers zijn vrij donker maar wel schoon en ruim genoeg. Personeel is erg vriendelijk en het restaurant heeft een goed ontbijt.

De 1e aankomst was goed. Vriendelijke mensen, leuke huisjes, frisse bries van zee. Huisjes zijn standaard maar netjes. Echter na het boeken van een trip naar de gilli's veranderde de sfeer. Ik ontdekte dat de manager andere mensen probeerde te misleiden trips om te boeken en zo geld te ontvangen voor "niet geleverde" diensten. Mij overkwam dat ook. 7 uur voor vertrek naar de gilli's en dus extra macht geboekt te hebben in t hotel kon mijn trip alleen doorgaan tegen een extra betaling aan de manager. Dus bij boeken gilli's niet via het hotel te regelen! Resterend van t hotel is prima.

Het hotel ligt op een prachtige locatie waar het goed toeven is. In het restaurant heb je uitzicht op de Straat van Lombok (zee). De zeeschepen en veerboten van en naar Lombok zie je regelmatig voorbij gaan. Het enige minpuntje is dat er geen bureautje in de kamer staat en dat de terrasstoelen zouden kunnen voorzien van een kussen. Dat zou het nog aangenamer maken. Het hotel ligt midden in Candidasa wat maakt dat het gezellig is op straat.

Great stay
This hotel has a stunning view, infinity pool right on the ocean. The resturant is right next to the pool so it also has a good view. The free breakfast is really decent, and there are a few choices. The staff were all extremely friendly and helpful which was lovely. There’s a supermarket/convenience store within short walking distance, spas, restaurants, and other hotels, all a short walk away. The outdoor bathroom was really cool.

Wonderful Hotel in Bali
Employees made us feel like family. The pool and facilities were wonderful. The whole stay was beyond our expectations.

Perhaps expected - but no excuses. Give it a miss
We had read the reviews left by others before we booked - so we were not too surprised to find this resort run-down and managed by inexperienced staff. We took the chance and stayed 4 nights, as the rest of our month in Bali had been in classier hotels and private villas and it was just a short stay. But we found the attitude of staff to be clearly a case of "We've given up!" They were mostly apologetic for the state of the resort. The owner has NO care to maintain the property - gardens are not cared for, bungalows are tired, run-down and in desperate need of some TLC. The pool was green and slimy (for 4 days, despite daily assurances it would be OK tomorrow) - we gave it a big miss! The restaurant is closed for anything other than a very ordinary (included) breakfast or a beer. The deck along the seafront is rotted and a little dangerous in spots. WiFi is non-existent in the "deluxe" bungalows - so we sat on the verandah of a basic room outside reception each morning - not a problem as only two rooms were occupied throughout our stay! Its cheap but its definitely not cheerful! A special salute to the lazy guy in reception - when we asked if he could assist with my wife's baggage he sent a 45kg 16year old girl to lug it out, rather than get off his comfy chair! Ultimately, we shamed him into it! The saving grace was the restaurant immediately to the right at the top of the laneway entrance to the "hotel" - amazing food, great staff and great value!

Beautiful property staff did what they could do with aging property. Needs to have some money put in for upgrades to rooms. Friendly staff nice view no beach though. Owner looked like a tyrant She really needs to put some money in this place. Love the laid back Candidasa area. The place only had 2 rooms rented out including us Asked for upgrade and they wanted double my booking price. Would go back to Candidasa but not here unless renovation happens. Feel bad for staff as they did amazing But they can’t fix the place up by themselves

This is my second time here. Great location and superb outlook to the ocean and beyond. Gardens and landscaping are very tranquil. The bungalow's are well positioned and very nice inside. The staff are fabulous and very friendly. On the negative side the outdoor bathroom facilities could do with a make over. The air conditioner in the room was poor, could do with replacement. The decking around the pool and decking where the sun lounges are set up is in desperate need of maintenance as very rough to walk on and a lot of boards are loose. On the whole DTunjung is well priced however I doubt that I will return for a third visit.

Beautiful place by the beach.
The hotel staff was always very helpful and cared about the us in 24/7. The view was fantastic and so much to try and explore around this area. The food in the resort was fantastic. Pool been cared and cleaned and the room was always clean. I loved it.

Was rather disappointed on arrival although staff were friendly and helpful but initial appearance was the grounds were unkept - although the bungalows looked beautiful and full of character. We had a bathroom with a bath which was absolutely filthy stained and generally the bathroom was old and tired. The patio area and sunbeds were shocking - splintered wood broken and falling to pieces so looked really shabby and unkept and so did the sunbeds with ripped dirty plastic cushions. There was no beach as shown in pictures just a tiny bit of sand where they launched all the fishing boats next to the lotus lagoon so was disappointed as we wanted to swim in the sea and was only able to go in when the tide was fully out and enter by the hotels steps straight into the sea as it was too rough otherwise. The food was lovely and very reasonable and staff in the restaurant were friendly.

Extremely disappointed, Pool was not working (green) air conditioner in room 1 just worked. In room 2 didn't work at all, complained got a rusted fan. Everything is run down and in need of repair. Bath leaked. Complained to reception, who informed us he rang the owner, who is Chinese, and was told he didn't care. So our long awaited 3 day stay, turned into 1 night.

Esta a metros del mar, pero no hay playa ahí.. Supongo que ninguno de los hoteles cercanos tienen. Es fácil de llegar y la atención es super amable.

Overall enjoyable stay
The pictures for this hotel do not do it justice, it's so much prettier! The breakfast is good with a choice between Indonesian food or typical breakfast food (toast, bacon, egg etc) staff were very friendly and our room was cleaned every day! You get a cold glass of orange juice on arrival which was really nice! Can hire scooters from the hotel which was really handy for getting around and for a good price! Overall had a great stay!

Smuk beliggenhed
Min kæreste og jeg havde 2 nætter her. Vi boede i en bungalow med smuk udsigt til vandet. Det var en fin bungalow, med udendørs bad. Dog bar bungalowen generelt præg af at være temmelig slidt. Også håndklæder var gamle og virkede lidt ulækre, selvom de selvfølgelig var rene. Stedet vinder helt sikkert på sin smukke beliggenhed lige ned til vandet, og et rigtig sødt og hjælpsomt personale.

Très bien !
Nous n'avons pas fait beaucoup appel au personnel pour les sorties car nous avons loué un scooter mais le personnel était accueillant et disponible pour nos questions. La salle de bain en extérieur est étrange au départ mais finalement très agréable L'hotel est très joli, la vue mer est magnifique comme sur les photos. Il n'y a pas beaucoup de boutiques aux alentours mais avec un scooter on rejoint vite les zones voulues et plus vivantes.

Nice pool overlooking the beach.
An affordable luxury. Staying in this hotel was very breathtaking after quite a long scooter ride from Denpasar. The staffs are very helpful and very friendly. The cleanliness, the quietness & the view are the main points of my pleasant stay. I will definitely go back to D Tunjung again whenever I came back to Candidasa. However, seems the pool needs to be more maintained, the water was not really clear when I was there, but apart from it, everything is perfect!

Dette hotel var klart det bedste hotel vi boede på under vores ophold på Bali, det var endda så godt at vi overvejede at tage tilbage, da vores andre hoteller ikke levede op til deres standard! Vi havde kun et problem under vores ophold og det var at der var en lille bikube under vores håndvask, som de fjernede med det samme, med en lille insektsspray. Maden smagte fantastisk, udsigten fra pool var fantastisk og udsigten fra vores helt egen bungalow var fantastisk! Der er ikke så meget at se i nærheden, men stranden er en lille taxi tur væk og der ligger masser af steder som udlejer biler og motorbikes og man kan tage dykkerundervisning lige ved siden af. Jeg vil klart anbefale dette hotel til alle!

Relaxing bungalows
We enjoyed the stay in this place. Bungalows are nice with private opened to sky lavatories :) Breakfast is allright also other meal. Hotel staff verx friendly and helpfull. Location of this hotel is good, 40m from main road so you cant hear the noise. Also around are some restaurants and market. Idela position to stay here.

Great location to main shopping, bars and restaurants. Gardens and setting just so majestic, such a beautiful environment with the bungalows all set within. Great size pool with awesome views looking out across the ocean. Breakfast is very good, with basic buffet, or from the menu.

心地よいホテル
毎日きれいにクリーニングされていてとても気持ちよかったです。 湯沸かし器もあり、サービスの水でインスタントコーヒーを作って飲んでいました。受付カウンターには人が大抵いて、早朝６：００のチェックアウトもスムーズでした。 朝食もおいしくパンケーキはおすすめです。 お湯の出が悪かった点は、マイナスですがおおむね満足でした。

概ね快適
ビーチはないけれど海に面した立地。 目の前の海は透明度が高く、景色もきれいで気持ちのいい環境です。 部屋はコテージスタイルで静か。ただ前の方も書いていた通り、照明が暗すぎるのと、バスタブはあるけどお湯がでるのが最初の数分なので、バスタブにお湯を溜めるのは無理でした。 南京錠で締める部屋のドアも隙間だらけで蚊が入ってきますが、机の引き出しに蚊取りマットがあるので使ってください。 あと、マッサージは今はホテル内にはなくて、提携店に車で送迎らしいです。 ならばホテル近くのマッサージ屋で十分ですね。 外国人の口コミでよくある「朝食が冷たい」ほ、たまにビュッフェの時があるようで、そうなると卵料理もバットに乗って並ぶ形だからかもしれません。確かに朝食はイマイチ。 従業員スタッフはみんな若くて、一流の気配りとは言えないけど、それもまたのんびりしてていいもの。 ホテル周辺にレストラン、コンビニ的な店、ATM、マッサージ、なんでもあるので便利な立地です。 いろいろ微妙な点もあるけど、今回の料金(１泊3500円ぐらい)なら、いいのかなとは思います。

Gute Ausgangslage für Erkundungen im Osten Balis
Schöne Lage direkt am Meer. Badeschuhe sind sehr zu empfehlen, da der Zugang zum Meer steinig ist und man sich auch durch Korallenrückstände leicht verletzen kann. Umliegend sind zahlreiche Restaurants, jedoch liegen die meisten an der sehr lauten Hauptstraße. Unser Bungalow hatte einen tollen Meerblick. Die Anlage ist an und für sich schön, jedoch müssten meines Erachtens einige Renovierungsarbeiten, insbesondere im Bad, vorgenommen werden.

Amazing surprise in Candi Dasa
Surprised from the moment we walked into D Tunjung: beautiful bungalows, cool sea breeze, great views, cool outdoor bathroom-garden, wonderful buffet breakfast, great snorkelling just in front of property. But, above all, what made our stay here extra special were Gade and his staff; we were made to feel like family and neither us or our kids wanted to leave after 5 amazing days. Thanks, we will come back!!!!

This is a very nice hotel in Candidasa. The staff and manager are very nice. The room has a very nice outdoor bathroom. Two things could be improved. The air conditionner does not work well. The breakfast buffet is too simple and food is not hot enough.

Belle piscine !
Le point fort de l'hôtel est la piscine. La vue est magnifique surtout au coucher de soleil. La salle de bain est dehors, dans un petit jardin (la partie baignoire et lavabo est sur carrelage), il n'y a pas de vis à vis mais cela peut paraître étrange. On peut facilement entendre les voisins, c'est assez bruyant. La chambre est correct. Le petit déjeuner est correct, une partie indonésienne et une partie plutôt européenne sucré/salé. C'est un mignon petit hôtel pour y reste quelques jours (3 jours sur place pour visiter les environ me semble correct)

I planned to just enjoy this little and pretty place on the bay but the restaurant wasn't open for dinner (though I was told otherwise) on arrival. The best bit was the open air shower. The worse was not having cooked breakfast delivered before I had to leave at 7.30 in the morning even though I was there for 30 minutes and they said breakfast was available from 7.

Tolle Lage + Hotel, Personal und Service schwach
Uns hat es grundsätzlich sehr gut gefallen in D Tunjung. Candidasa ist sehr nett, schöne Restaurants, gute Möglichkeiten für Tagesausflüge ins Landesinnere von Bali. Vor allem der Pool und der Blick auf das Meer waren traumhaft. Das Zimmer ist ok, wie auf den Bildern mit Freilichtdusche und allem, was man sonst so benötigt. Negativ ist uns aufgefallen, dass das Moskitonetz am Bett sehr viele Löcher hatte, so dass man sich das sicherlich hätte schenken können. Des Weiteren gab es nur zwei Handtücher insgesamt, also keine kleinen fürs Waschbecken und großen für die Dusche, sondern nur 2 Große. Wir konnten damit aber leben. Für uns persönlich war das schlimmste das junge Personal, wir vermuten unter 20.Es war mit den Aufgaben einfach ein wenig überfordert. Beispiel: Wir hatten eine tolle Blüte auf dem Bett liegen, so wir man es eben auf Bali kennt. Jedoch hatte diese ein Ameisennest inne, was das Personal wohl nicht gecheckt hatte (klar war es keine Absicht, dennoch aber sehr unglücklich). Wir durften danach erstmal das Bett Kern reinigen. NAJA. Bei unserem Check Out hatte dann die Schlussrechnung in Höhe von 30k IDR netto eine Steuer+Service von zusätzlichen 60k IDR (bei 21% Steuersatz, der wohlgemerkt genannt wurde) , was jedem normal denkenden doch wundern würde. Ich versuchte es der Rezeptionistin zu erklären und gab ihr eine Nacht Bedenkzeit bis zu unserer Abreise am nächsten Morgen. Sie war dann dennoch der festen Überzeugung, dass das so korrekt ist, anstatt sich ggf. bei ihrem Chef zu erkundigen. Ich habe so belassen und gut war es damit. Das war vllt. die größte Enttäuschung und bestätigte unseren Eindruck, dass das Personal einfach nicht gut ausgebildet ist und deutlich zu jung war...
