The only 5 star requirement we can't meet is having multiple Food and Beverage outlets onsite because we only have 33 rooms. However we serve the same menu throughout our property. Team Pacific OUR PHILOSOPHY AND GOALS : In 2018 we completed review driven goal oriented renovation of our 33 room resort. Based on Guest Feedback our design goal was to provide a Casual Laid Back Boutique 5 Star Resort at reasonable rates. We did this by carefully evaluating what Guests say in all their 4-5 star reviews to find out what they really use and what they don’t. Therefore we have been upgraded a 4.5 Star Resort (rather than 5) because in a small resort it’s impossible to fulfill some 5 Star requirements such as two separately branded restaurants with different menus etc.. We appreciate all Guest Feedback regarding what is important to You, our Guests, so we can continue to improve and provide what 5 star travelers want and need at the lowest price possible. The room you got was actually an upgrade because it had a small kitchenette, but however rather than king bed it has a queen bed. We have partnered with DreamMaster which is the worldwide top 5 star bedding manufacturer for over 15 years now as the owner is my friend. The decision about firmness was a major consideration and we chose to go with the specs used by JW Marriott and many other 5 star resorts worldwide. However we also understand some folks like super plush, so we have latex toppers on request so we can deliver that super plush experience for folks who prefer it. We apologize about the rough check in as we can't control how the Guest before you set the AC so cold the unit froze with ice and started dripping water. But all our AC units are new within this last year and our Team is very good at solving these issues. And Yes it's true we are located in the jungle and there are a few rare occasions when a snake makes it way into the garden. Again our Team was happy to eliminate the problem.
