'Casa Carolina is niet zomaar een hotel, het is een belevenis. Het hotel heeft een eeuwenoude geschiedenis en dat is op veel plekken nog goed te zien. Onze kamer was comfortabel met een fijn groot bed en leuke details. Het is zeer centraal gelegen, maar in de kamer hoor je geen geluiden van buiten. Het ontbijt was heerlijk. '

'It’s a great property on a nice location. But I booked a design suite, arrived at 1.30 pm. Room not ready (normal). Ready after 3 pm so I went in the city to have lunch. Came back at 3.30, received the key and guess what? Room was still occupied with clothes, suitecases, not cleaned. After an hour they gave me another (normal) room. Above that the rooftop pool is empty, bar not open, elevator doesn’t work. Got nof compensation other than a (nice) drink. So overall not at all what I paid for €...

Great roof top jacuzzi pool and service by all staff was top notch...a 10+!! I would stay here again without hesitation. Considering how many hotels are in the area, this one is juat at the end of the street closest to the ocean and none of the noise and hustle of the many people and vendors. '

'This hotel was amazing! The staff was so helpful they literally took me to different stores so they could translate for me I only speak (English) and get reasonable prices because it’s a tourist area. Room service every day, I stayed five days. Great location!!'

'Het hotel heeft een top locatie en een geweldig dakterras. Het eten en het personeel is super. Het is een schoon, modern, mooi ingericht hotel. Het einge nadeel was dat wij een kleine kamer hadden boven de keuken en er een open trap verbinding was met onze etage en de lobby waardoor er veel geluid was. Ook was er de hele tijd gebrom van airco's van andere kamers en hadden wij uitzicht op troep. Dit viel ons heel erg tegen en verstoorde onze nachtrust. Er was helaas geen andere kamer beschikbaar....

'Hotel’s location is excellent as you can walk anywhere and there are several excellent restaurants nearby. It’s in a very good condition, there’s an air conditioning and a separate ceiling fan. Breakfast was pretty good and the staff is very friendly. The old town can be pretty busy at all times, but our room 401 was very quiet. '

"We enjoyed this hotel a lot! Beautiful pool, very friendly staff and good breakfast.
We booked a room with clublounge access and this was the only part that could be better. The (sparkling) wines were very sweet and did not taste good. The food offering in the evening was very limited, but the quality was decent. They also have cocktails, but they did not advertise that you have to make them yourself. After some help from chatGPT we found some nice combinations with the drinks that were on offer. But we would not choose clublounge again here. Was kind of an disappointment.
The rest (room, breakfast, service, pool) was perfect!"

"Heel leuk hotel op prima locatie. Lekker ruime en schone kamer met heerlijk bed. Prachtig dakterras met twee kleine dompelbadjes. Niet echt geschikt om bij te gaan liggen en relaxen. Personeel was heel aardig en behulpzaam. Het enige nadeel was dat tijdens ons verblijf er verbouwd werd in een gebouw naast het hotel. Tussen 08.00 en 17.00 was er een oorverdovend lawaai van gehak en drilboor. "

For Colombia it’s an extremely expensive hotel but it’s a nice experience to be pampered and well looked after. Room was nice and comfortable, although the hotel and rooms show some signs of wear and tear. So the hotel management shouldn’t forget to continue to invest in maintenance. But in summary: we had a great stay."
"Van buiten verwacht je het niet, maar het hotel is een verademing in de stad. Meteen in de lobby heerst er rust, het is modern en we werden altijd vriendelijk ontvangen en geholpen bij vragen. Niks was teveel moeite. De locatie is prettig vlakbij de Ciudad Amurallada en aan de rand van Getsemaní.
Onze kamer was zeer ruim, lekker bed en alles in goede staat, plus een fijne douche.
Het ontbijtbuffet op het dakterras was uitgebreid en lekker, plus een aanvulling op bestelling. Het zwembad is groot heeft een super uitzicht op Bocagrande.
Ik zou hier zeker weer teruggaan!"
