'What a lovely traditional hotel decorated in a classic style that takes you back in time. You are welcomed, not only by lovely open fires, but also by the reception and bar staff! Very friendly and helpful. Our room had fabulous views of the mountains and we enjoyed beautiful sunsets and sunrises. 5 mins walk to the main street with a choice of restaurants and a few mins drive to the attractions and trails. '

'Excellent location near the station. Parking was fine but the entrance is not where Google Maps states. Older hotel in art deco style. Shows its age but has some character. Renovated small ensuite in our room. Comfortable, clean and warm. We had dinner in the restaurant and the food was excellent. Live music in the bar afterwards was enjoyable. Great value accommodation, would stay again.'

'Everything worn and dirty. In retrospect I don’t think I would stay there at half the price, nor maybe even if it was free. Only upside was that receptionist was pleasant and helpful, but that’s little consolation.'
