Adaline is a loving restored 1860s miner’s hut, that was originally moved to the property from Sydney in the mid-1900s. In 2024, Adaline was completely renovated with the highest quality fittings to make it a truly unique property in the Blue Mountains.

Adaline’s high vaulted ceilings with original 1860s beams and gable skylights add a touch of historical elegance, while the modern inclusions of a chef’s kitchen with views to Echo Point, laundry, stunning bathroom with underfloor heating, air-conditioning, and a slow combustion fireplace makes Adaline the perfect place to stay all year round. Adaline sits on its own private sanctuary of newly establish gardens, boardwalks and garden paths to explore.

Designed for Relaxation and Convenience

The master bedroom, a haven of relaxation, has views of the mountains and Echo Point in the distance. The second bedroom has both a gabled roof and views of the front garden. The kitchen is a modern masterpiece, with new appliances, and a 90cm gas cook top. The bathroom is immaculately presented with rose gold tapware, a modern take on Victorian tiles, and a frameless glass shower that combines style with functionality.

At Blue Mountains Bliss Cottages, we strive to ensure that every guest arrives and settles in with ease and comfort. Here’s what you need to know about accessing our charming retreat:

Parking

While there is no onsite parking available, guests can take advantage of ample street parking very close to the cottage. This convenient option allows for easy access to the property at any time during your stay. You can park on Lurline Street, or Leichardt Street. In our experience Leichardt street is nearly always empty, and is an easier option. The walk from either option is very short, and flat.

Property Access

Please note that accessing Adaline Cottage involves navigating a small number of stairs (2 small flights), which may pose challenges for those with mobility issues, young children, or if carrying heavy luggage. We want all our guests to be aware and comfortable with this aspect to ensure a pleasant arrival and stay.
