'It is a picturesque cottage with everything perfectly maintained. There was a great view of the lake and excellent lighting; and a forest behind the cottage. Foosball and air hockey tables in basement were great fun as was the hot tub which is on a large deck. Barbecue is conveniently near to sliding doors of cottage on a balcony. Bedrooms are spacious. Secluded, but only a brief drive to top grocery store and conveniences.'

'My husband and I were looking for a quiet getaway to celebrate our 10 year anniversary and this definitely didn’t disappoint. It was exactly what we were looking for. Somewhere to have some quiet relaxation with a hot tub. Devon was a great host and her communication was great. We would definitely come back!'

'Loved our experience at the Blue House. The open concept living rm/kitchen was great and better than shown in the pictures. Beds were comfortable and the house had all we needed for our stay. The host even organized the drop-off of a space heater for one room that was a bit cold, so we were very comfortable. The only improvement would be the dishwasher, since it doesn't clean the dishes very well, even when rinsed. A few more glasses would also be helpful.'

'A spectacular cottage - we stayed for 5 nights, and everything was perfect. Brent is great with communication, sending all the info you need as well as responding quickly to any messages. The location is ideal - a short drive on a well maintained road off the main highway between Bracebridge and Port Carling. The cottage is on a beautiful property, with a lovely waterfront and a fantastic dock. We enjoyed swimming in the lake which was a great temperature and very clean water, as well as using...

'Cottage was wonderful. 4 bedrooms which were more than accommodating . Fenced in deck which allowed for our dog and small children to run around. The lake was gorgeous and perfect for our inflatable raft. Fishing was perfect for the kids as there are a ton of smaller fish that hover the dock allowing for an easy catch for the kiddos. Definitely looking forward to staying again.'

'Wanted to get out of toronto for a few nights before the kids went back to school. Found" running water" and knew the kids would love it, especially because its water access , and we could use our boat to and from. Dorset is a great little town, everything you will need. Raven lake is clean, well marked out, great for a cruise, or tubing .'
