'In decades of staying in hostels around the world, I've never encountered such unfriendly staff. Specifically, the young woman with straight pulled-back hair ignored me; worse, the older short gray haired kitchen woman several times barked at me for opening the communal fridge to put and take out my food. On the third instances, I shouted at her to at least say 'please' (in Russian). I felt self-conscious ever after in the kitchen when she was there. There was no instruction about entry access...
