'I stayed four nights while touring the Antietam battlefield. The house was as advertised, the hosts were easy to communicate with, the location was perfect for my purposes, and I very much enjoyed my stay.'

'You could not beat the location! It's just a five- to 10-minute walk to the shops in Lower Town and all the historical landmarks. The listing was exactly as described and featured everything one could need for a few nights' stay—I really appreciated the electric skillet so that I had the option to cook something more substantial if I didn't want to eat out. 'The outdoor spaces exceeded my expectations of the property. There is ample space on the deck, the yard is enjoable with the views and firepit, and the front porch rocking chairs are relaxing with a cup of coffee and litening to the gentle rain.Young adults enjoyed the game room. My only suggestion would be to replace mattress in 1st floor bedroom, it sinks a little. That is a small inconvenience considering that everything else was lively and the kitchen was well supplied with cooking tools.'

'We had a wonderful stay at The Ginger. We loved the seclusion and the view! We even had 7 deer visit one evening. The place was clean and comfortable! The decor is cute and the cupboards were clearly labled and everything that we needed was available for us! We had such a relaxing weekend. We definitely would love to come back!! 'This is a beautiful home in a secluded neighborhood with access to the Potomac River. The house is about 10 minutes from all of the things you would want to do in the Harper’s Ferry Historic area. The house is furnished and decorated very nicely and the kitchen has everything you will need for preparing & serving meals. 'Great location to go kayaking, rafting or tubing. Very convenient to Harper's Ferry Historical Park. Quiet neighborhood with plenty of friendly deer. Beautiful view from the back deck and the perfect place for our 2 dogs.John was very accommodating and responsive. Beds were comfortable and the young adults enjoyed their space in the basement to hang out, watch TV, play video games or exercise.Would stay again.'
