'Whenever I travel to Northern NSW I always stay at Ballina Palms even if I spend my time in other parts of Northern NSW. Andre & his family were having a well earned break and the two stand-in hosts made my time feel very welcome & helped me with my basic requests such as topping up my coffee, tea, milk, biscuits & bathroom amenities on the 3 nights I stayed. 'Comfortable room with good bed, nice bathroom and covered parking. The only point of improvement would be that while the curtains themselves block the light very well, there was a lot of light seeping in to our specific room via the top and sides of the curtains. Our windows were facing the illuminated inner courtyard. '

'The breakfast at the Hotel was magnificent, a great choice of cold buffet food. The Hotel is a beautiful old colonial building restored to a high standard. There was quiet AC in the rooms and comfortable, beds we slept well. Pool area with loungers and sun umbrellas was well maintained . The staff could've be more pleasant or helpful. '
