'A well-appointed house on a canal in a rural area close ( a few minutes) to Port Clinton, with plenty of room for the four of us. Our stay was very short but would definitely choose it again. One point, one of the beds is a full-size mattress turned sideways so very wide but not suitable for adults unless you sleep "across" it. We were there to bird the famous Magee Marsh and Ottawa NWR, it was great for that and if you have a boat you can tie up right there.'

'It was great! The listing on VRBO did not tell much of anything about it though. Had I known we were going to be right on the lake we'd have brought chairs and beach towels. It doesn't say anything about that or that it is a campground like setting. But we loved that it was quiet and secluded. The room was clean. The lock on the door is very hard to operate. The bathroom faucet is stiff and you feel like you're going to break it when adjusting temps but it works fine.'

'Check- in was super easy and just as described by the host. The house was very clean and comfy! The kitchen was great, with everything we needed; appreciated the coffee pods and accoutrements. Some of us enjoyed some quiet conversation on the dock in the early evening while others put together puzzles on the coffee table.'

'We had an amazing stay at the “Library at the Lake”. The front porch is spectacular and was out hangout place most evenings! Very quiet with a lovely breeze. The host is very timely with all communications and a pleasure to work with.House has ample parking and is within easy walking distance of the lake, Jet Express, restaurants and entertainment. Very easy travel time to Catawba and Marblehead as well.I highly recommend this property for your Port Clinton adventure.'

'We were in town for a baseball tournament at Sports Force Park and this was a perfect location. This house was perfect for what we needed. I do want to point out the listing said there was a double pull out sofa. Unless it was user error, the couch is not a pullout couch but the accent chair folds out to a bed but definitely not a double size bed. It was not something I would be able to sleep comfortably on no matter the size. My husband wasn’t with me so I ended up sharing one of the other...

'Worked well for 4 guys, 1 bed room has bunk beds, Had option for fold out beds, Were supposed to have 5 guys , Would have been tight but better cost wise. But only 1 full bath Rented and got charged the VRBO fee, didn't expect that along with the 1st charge, I should have paid attention to that, My first time rent from VRBO. But good overall.'
