Welcome to Big Moose Cabin at Moose Tracks Lodging, newly remodeled in winter 2025 and thoughtfully refreshed with travelers in mind. Located in the heart of the Kenai Peninsula, this spacious cabin is the perfect home base for your Alaska adventure—whether you’re fishing, hiking, wildlife watching, or simply enjoying time together in the great outdoors.

Inside, Big Moose Cabin offers plenty of room for everyone to spread out, featuring three spacious bedrooms, two full bathrooms, a comfortable family room, and a full kitchen equipped for preparing meals after a day of exploring. Large windows fill the cabin with natural light and offer frequent opportunities to spot moose wandering through the property—a common and special sight for our guests.

Big Moose Cabin is part of Moose Tracks Lodging, a small cabin property that also includes Rustic Moose Cabin and Blue Moose Cabin. Each cabin can be enjoyed privately, or larger groups and families can rent the entire property for a memorable gathering while still having separate spaces to relax.

Outside, each cabin at Moose Tracks Lodging has its own private fire pit, hammock, and charcoal grill, creating the perfect setting for relaxing evenings, cookouts, and enjoying Alaska’s fresh air. The large yard provides plenty of space to play, unwind, and soak in the peaceful surroundings.
