Creekside Cottage in de buurt van Daniel's Lake

Onze plek ligt in een unieke hoek van Alaska. Dit rustige toevluchtsoord ligt in een rustige omgeving aan een zalm- / forellenstroom naast het meer van Daniel. Het huisje is 900 vierkante meter en is volledig ingericht met een queensize bed in een kamer en een stapelbed voor 1 of 2 personen in een semi-privékamer. Er is een volledig functionele keuken en een wasmachine en droger voor uw gebruik.

Daniels Lake is het grootste meer ten noorden van Kenai en ondersteunt een gezonde populatie van Rainbow Trout, Dolly Varden Trout en twee zalmlopen (zowel Sockeye als Silvers). Vanaf eind juli en augustus maken de Sockeye hun laatste reis van de oceaan naar hun paaiplaatsen in Daniel's Lake. Eind augustus en september rennen de Silvers ook de kleine kreek achter het huisje op. Je kunt de zalm vanaf de visladder zien springen in het meer, op slechts een steenworp afstand van de voordeur. Deze migratie brengt de adelaars en andere dieren in het wild naar het gebied. Hoewel de kreek gesloten is om te vissen, staat het meer het hele jaar open voor sportvissen. Een kano is beschikbaar voor uw gebruik en advies is gratis!

Het Nikiski-gebied beschikt ook over uitstekende stranden, het recreatiecentrum North Peninsula, (Nikiski-zwembad), Captain Cook State Park, talrijke meren, kreken en rivieren om te vissen in zowel zomer als winter, verschillende wandelpaden, bessenplukken, langlaufen, sneeuwschoenwandelen en sneeuwsnijden,

We proberen de Alaska-ervaring te behouden door een terugtrekking van technologie te creëren. Geniet van uw koffie of thee op het dek terwijl u luistert naar het geritsel van de kreek en de arenden in de buurt. We hebben een inwonende populatie adelaars met verschillende nesten in de buurt. Loons zal vanaf het meer bellen en Moose zijn ook frequente bezoekers.

Clean cozy cabin in the woods with stream

We love staying at the cabin with a stream and peaceful woods. I even hopped in the canoe and turned circles on the lake on a windy night. The beds were comfy and the place was spotless with so many personal touches. We forgot to sign the cute little guest book, which I am sad about. We also broke the toilet seat somehow and they came and fixed it immediately. Very kind!

Absolutely Loved It!!!!

The Creekside Cottage was the perfect place for some rest and relaxation during a busy soccer weekend. The directions given were easy to follow. We were greeted at the door with a sweet welcome sign, easy check in process, very clean, organized and homey. It was a nice surprise to have waters already in the fridge and a wide variety of quick snacks. Extra blankets were available if needed. The creek right outside was the icing on the cake, our kids loved to watch the fish swim and jump the rocks on their journey. Wonderful experience and would highly recommend to anyone!

Great Place to stay!

This was a very nice place to stay! We were welcomed with a great sign on the front porch, which was a very nice touch! It was very comfortable and had everything we needed and wanted!! There were even some really nice amenities like hot chocolate, tea, coffee, instant oatmeal, granola bars, etc. which were very appreciated! They even had games and plenty of things to read about what to do in the area. There were binoculars there to use, which were great when we had the mama moose and her baby right next to the property. The stream in the back and lake across the street were really nice! We saw 1 salmon trying to make her way back to the lake! We enjoyed the canoe which was provided as well. The owner even stopped to help us carry it and put it into the water! The hosts were fantastic and were checking to see if we needed anything! It was also nice to have a place to do our laundry with everything provided. We enjoyed our stay here and felt very comfortable, like we were at home. Lisa even provided us with some lists of things that we might like to do. It was a very nice stay! I know you will enjoy it too! It is a long way to the other side of the Peninsula though!

True taste of Alaska living

I styed one night at this property in mid-September. The hosts Lisa and Dan were super responsive and gave me great suggestions for supplies and food I would need for my fishing trip. Place was immaculate and well stocked. I got to watch the salmon swimming upstream in the back yard complete with a bald eagle in the tree top. Lake across the street was beautiful but unfortunately I did not have time to take the kayak out. Even saw the Northern lights when I left very early the next morning. Highly recommend this property

Splendid Home in the Woods

Really nothing negative to say about this place, as the hosts have created a wonderful vacation home in a great spot. The house was immaculate, and all that the listing says about the property is true. My husband and I were very happy to stay here, and I think a family with two kids who like the outdoors would love it (summer or winter due to the warm municipal pool with water slide not far away). We hope to return for a longer stay next summer.
