'This is a beautiful hotel just a few miles off the motorway but on the other she of Kendal. The Rooms are tastefully decorated, clean and comfortable. We will come again for a longer stay. Just beautiful'

'Single occupancy for two nights - small room, but clean, good shower & comfortable bed. Food (smoked salmon & scrambled eggs for breakfast and Cajun chicken salad in the evening) was excellent and portions were generous. Staff friendly and efficient. All for a very reasonable price. Great location to explore Lake Windermere.'
