'The property and the host were all that is wonderful. Ian took extra steps to make sure our stay was perfect down to leaving a big basket of welcome goodies for my sister's and my birthday. At the last minute, the clouds parted and we even got to view the eclipse as icing on the cake! My entire family has no hesitation in recommending this property to anyone visiting the Texas wine country.'

'We decided to get away for a few days before heading back to work after the holidays. The place was perfect for the two of us! Easy access to all the Fredricksburg activities and very nice accommodations .We had everything we needed for a couple of days stay. Unfortunately we didn’t get to use the hot tub because of the weather and timing. That was the only disappointment for us. Well maintained and preserved farmhouse with charming decorations and special touches throughout. Spacious living room, dining room and well stocked large kitchen with all the glassware, dishes and cookware you could need! Wonderful coffee bar that was fully stocked! Fun family games in the buffet cabinet to play on the full sized dining room table. Large soaking bathtub in one bathroom...

'We loved our stay at this cute house in Fredericksburg. It had all the amenities needed and was super clean. Our 2 dogs had a great time also. The yard is fenced and really big. We loved walking to the Herb Garden restaurant and getting great meals. The area is walkable and close to town. Thanks for a great stay!'

'The house was adorable, walking distance to Main St., and the back yard was gorgeous and HUGE! We had a great time. The house is ideal for a group of six to eight, but I don't think ten would fit comfortably. While there was a broken curtain rod and a fallen door window treatment when we got there, it did not affect our enjoyment one bit. I was very pleased with the house. I would definitely go back.'

'Our stay at The Max cottage was so enjoyable. It isn’t just a “pet-friendly” cottage, it’s a “pet-welcoming” cottage! So sweet to have a jar of doggie biscuits right by the door. And they provided small bowls for food and water along with a leash and poop bags in case they were forgotten. It’s the little things. 'The house was old, dusty, and dressing was uncomfortable. The shower was tiny. Driving through the driveway was dangerous due to the huge tree in the way of vehicles. It would be nice if there were handicap rails to hold onto throughout the home.'

'This property takes you back in time. It is just adorable!!! However, it does not have all the luxuries of today's homes. The layout is a bit weird and some parts of the house is slanted!!! It is a great location though. You can walk right into the main area of Fredericksburg. One nice feature is there is an outside shower versus a handheld shower in a tub and there is a hot tub!!!
