De ultieme ontsnapping uit Florida Keys! De Flamingo Nook gelegen aan Key Colony Beach nabij Marathon. Privacy is wat Flamingo Nook onderscheidt van andere Key Colony Beach-accommodaties.

Flamingo Nook is onlangs gerenoveerd. Het is omheind en afgesloten met gemakkelijke toegang via water naar zowel de Atlantische Oceaan en de Golf. U kunt uw boot direct bij het huis aanmeren!

KENMERKEN:

Twee master suites met eigen badkamer, queen size bedden, linnengoed, flatscreen-tv's, Wi-Fi en plafondventilatoren.

Volledig ingerichte moderne keuken, alle nieuwe apparatuur, Corian wastafel en werkbladen met een tafel en stoelen op de hoogte.

Schuifdeuren van een meter breed komen uit op het zwembad dat wordt verwarmd voor de wintergasten en gekoeld voor zomergasten.

Zwembad met een diepte van 5 cm met aan twee zijden een zitbank, de perfecte plek om te genieten van een koel drankje. Paraplu Tiki schaduwen een deel van het zwembad om de middagzon te ontsnappen.

De woonkamer is voorzien van een slaapbank, twee draaistoelen en een 42-inch smart-tv, een dvd-speler, WiFi, kabel-tv en een oplaadstation voor een laptop / mobiele telefoon.

Franse deuren openen vanuit de woonkamer naar een privé afgeschermde patio met tafel en stoelen. Je uitzicht vanaf de ene kant van de patio is van het zwembad, Tiki en dock. Aan de andere kant is een putting green met vier holes die wordt omringd door weelderig tropisch gebladerte. Landschapsverlichting verlicht de green voor 's nachts zetten.

Een nieuw dok bevat een Slide Moore railsysteem op elke heipaal, zodat uw boot gemakkelijk kan worden gekoppeld zonder zwepen of kriskras verlopende lijnen.

Voor de liefhebber van vissen worden een grote aasvriezer en hengelsteunen undercover in de afgeschermde ruimte geleverd. Op het dok bevinden zich een visschoonmaakstation, waterslang en stroomvoorziening.

Aan de zijkant van het pand is een rek dat is opgesteld voor het drogen van vissen en duikuitrusting. Ook inbegrepen zijn een gasgrill, nieuwe wasmachine en droger en vier Beach Cruiser-fietsen. Aan de straatkant is er voldoende parkeergelegenheid - inclusief een plek voor een boottrailer.

Excellent vacation

One of the best places we have stayed in KCB. We stayed at Flamingo Nook for 2 weeks. The place is beautiful! The pool, the screened porch and the entire home is beautiful! You can tell it has recently been refurbished and that the owners take pride in their home! We have already booked for 2026! Thanks for a great vacation!

Very nice place ...

Please read ALL of review and not just concerns/cons. Thank you.1). Cons/issues: a). Pool was not cleaned (maintenance schedule(?) or weather timing(?) with a small metal spring and a metal angle bracket found in pool to which I removed, and the pool pump had known issues that were needing to be fixed (LOUD). b). First bathroom sink drain was draining slow and toilet ball valve slow-leaked. c). In the hall up on the wall near the first bathroom was some bare wiring (missing smoke alarm?). The next day after reporting the pool issue, maintenance came in and wired/connected the emergency light to the bare wire. d). After pool pump was fixed, pool heater no longer worked. e). After pool pump was fixed, outside lights along the palm trees and the mini-putt no longer worked.2). Pros: a). Communication with Chandler was friendly and prompt. b). Pool pump was fixed. c). Bathroom concerns were fixed promptly. d). Nice place.If pool heater and outdoor/outside lights are fixed, my wife and I would not hesitate to stay again.

Flamingo Nook

We booked our stay after combing through dozens of places. This little gem was just what we needed. It was clean, fully equipped, has an adorable pool and a place to dock our boat. It’s also located in the middle of Marathon so it is close to everything. Buyer beware—it says it sleeps 4 people but that you can make special requests for extra guests. However, this property really only means 4 people. No exceptions.

Flamingo Nook Review - 27April2024

My wife and I along with another couple had a great week at Flamingo Nook and the KCB-Marathon area. Flamingo Nook was perfect for four people. Kitchen was well equipped, beds slept well, plenty of towels including beach towels. The staff at Key Colony Beach Realty were excellent to work with. Thanks to Casey and Tyler for answering my questions and communicating when we could get in, etc. The Cabana Club was a nice plus! Large pool, nice little beach, good bar for an adult beverage and excellent staff. The pool at Flamingo Nook was a great plus. It was nice to cool off and relax after an afternoon on the boat. Dockage is good with the tide slide mooring setup. Dock was big enough for a 21-foot boat with no problem. All in all, it was a very good vacation. We would stay at Flamingo Nook again.

The pictures do not do this place justice. The water is seriously out your door. We had a couple of concerns based off the reviews. The kitchen sink was replaced. Grill was brand new and had 2 new tanks of gas. Pool was clean. Great central location for day trips to Key West. Would definitely stay here again.

Absolutely Stunning!

When I booked this property, I was already hooked on the amenities. But then I got there it was more than I could ask for! My family (boys 10 and 7 + husband (I mean really 3 kids! Ha) and I enjoyed seeing the manatees, pelicans, herons, yellowtail snapper, mutten snapper, etc off the dock. To top it off swimming after a long day of being on the boat. It was amazing! We will be booking here again.

Loved our stay at the Flamingo Nook!

Everything was as described. I have rented in Key Colony multiple times and loved the location, the property, and the canal. Rental was clean and the kitchen was stocked with plenty of pots and pans. Had a little bit of an issue with the hospitality app that was used for check-in/communication not showing new messages but that is due to the app and/or my phone and I was very happy my call was answered on the weekend to help us check-in. Would definitely stay again!

Quiet and relaxing!

Beautiful place to stay. The private pool was a huge bonus for us, we were in it all day long. Enjoyed being on the canal and watching the boats, birds, and jellyfish. The house has everything you need. Nicely decorated, comfortable beds. We would definitely stay here again. Thank you!

What a great place to stay. We loved the pool and the sunset views. Everything worked out great for us and another couple. The only thing that bothered us was the grill. Prior to arrival I had inquired if propane would be there so we could use the grill. The rental company stated there should be propane. We used the grill one night then it ran out. I stopped by the rental office and asked how they filled the propane tanks. I was told I could fill up the propane tank myself. If you're providing a grill then propane ought to be included.

Back and in the keys and loving it

We had a wonderful time. The house was as pictured. We enjoyed the pool and the bicycles and the little putting course was enjoyable. Great places for eating and convenient for shopping. The key colony beach club was a nice addition to our entertainment. On the down side, a few things in the house need a little TLC. The kitchen faucet was almost falling off and difficult to use. The water in the kitchen never seemed to get warm enough, but there is a dishwasher so that helped. The pool was very dirty when we arrived and it was like that for 4 days until it was cleaned. Overall I would definitly go back.

Had a great trip and home was clean. Loved being able to keep boat at the dock and coming back every day and getting in the pool. Sitting in the back porch in the mornings drinking coffee and it was peaceful.

Miss it already!!

We just left after 2 months at this duplex. I actually did not know I rented a duplex because their was nothing in the description about that when I reserved it. I must admit that when we went to the house I was a little disappointed. However, it worked out great for us. The people on both sides of us were quiet & I believe they are owners. We rented a boat and the neighbor on the other side of our house didn’t like that our boat was past the fence so we moved it up. We totally cleaned the place after we got there. It does need a a good deep clean but we made it work. We would rent this duplex again. We did enjoy the small soak pool. This area was great for biking/walking & the Cabana Club was a plus.
