'We had the most amazing time at the Clarendon Forest Retreat. We stayed in the Sanctuary house. The peace and quiet, sitting looking over the hills in the afternoon, and relaxing in the hot tub was so what we needed.
Also, one of the highlights was when we were in the local corner shop, we were sharing with the lady at the cash register that we were staying at the Clarendon Forest Retreat and the gentleman behind us was the builder of the house!

'This hotel is a bit quirky but that’s its charm. We were given a tour and info about access and the area by the owner when we arrived.
Comfy bed and clean room and bathroom area.

'We were lucky enough to get a Seaview from our surf. Villa was very comfortable. Had all the things we needed. The only negative was a very strong bleach smell. When we entered we had to open it up for quite awhile to air. It out would stay again. noticed not many of the villas have water views '

'Our stay at the Manning River Motel was just what we needed for our visit to Taree. Clean and quiet with lovely staff. I would highly recommend the motel for those wanting a basic place to stay, at a great price.'

'Just had an overnight stay while travelling down the east coast. Room was spacious (although we had a family room as that was the last room available), bed was very comfortable and there was parking right outside the room. Pub next door was great (you check in & collect the key here) - not fancy, but friendly staff, and the meals were superb. We had both lunch and dinner in it.
Would stay here again if I was stopping off in Taree.'

Check in was via a safe box and we dropped the key into a key drop so didn’t see any staff.'

'Prima hotel aan de weg maar net ver genoeg om geen last te hebben van lawaai. Vlakbij Mc Donalds en river. Te ver om naar strand te lopen maar auto prima te doen. Beetje saai dorpje maar prima voor een stop. Even ten zuiden prachtige stranden en NP.'
