E komo mai! Dit is de Hawaiiaanse manier om te zeggen dat iedereen welkom is.

Mahalo (bedankt) voor het nemen van een moment om mijn huis in het prachtige Kihei, Maui te bekijken. Dit 4e verdieping appartement is gelegen op de meest gunstige locatie op Maui. Vanaf het moment dat je door de deur loopt, is het onmogelijk om het adembenemende prachtige uitzicht vanaf de privé Lanai (terras of balkon) te negeren. U kunt het populaire Kamaole Beach Park zien met picknickplaatsen, grasvelden, strand, volleybal, honkbal, voetbal en basketbalvelden. Het heeft ook een prachtige strandwandeling. Aan de linkerkant kun je een van de populairste surfspots van Zuid-Maui bekijken, Cove Park. Het is de perfecte plek om te leren surfen. Er zijn twee plaatsen om boards te huren en lessen te nemen. Eén bevindt zich op de eerste verdieping van dit gebouw. De andere bevindt zich aan de overkant van de straat. Als je meer een duiker bent of geïnteresseerd bent in andere oceaanactiviteiten zoals walvissen kijken of snorkelavonturen, dan heb ik je hier ook gedekt. Breng een bezoek aan Maui Dreams Dive shop, ook op de eerste verdieping. Als u honger krijgt, zijn er drie restaurants op het terrein. Joy's Place is een geweldige broodjeszaak met uitstekende koffie en gezonde broodjes. Surfside Cafe is een nieuw restaurant met lokale, Amerikaanse en Cubaanse gerechten en serveert de hele dag ontbijt en lunch. Your Bliss heeft op Maui geïnspireerde gourmet bevroren lekkernijen, evenals een aantal geweldige voedselopties.

The property was furnished nicely. The kitchen had everything you would need if you were eating in. The view of the ocean and the sunsets were amazing. We were able to walk to several eateries and the grocery store. We really appreciated having beach towels, chairs, and an umbrella. Having a washing machine and dryers were awesome.

It’s my first time using a VRBO property. And this was an amazing choice. We had a beautiful time and really enjoyed the property. The view of the ocean was just so stunning and beautiful. The location is great because you are right across the surfing area of the beach and within walking distance of many dining options. There is a small convenience store on the first level which turned out VERY convenient for us… 🤭. Our host, Shawn was very attentive to our needs as well. Overall, an excellent first time experience in Hawaii…thank you Shawn. ❤️

Terrific condo - perfect location!!!

Shawn's condo is fantastic! Check in was a breeze. It was spotless and perfectly appointed. We had everything we needed for our 3 week stay. We loved being able to watch the whales and the sunsets and the beach volleyball games (and the chickens) in the park across the street. The bed was comfy with nice linens and the bedroom was quiet. Note: There was discolouration on the bedroom carpet but you could tell it had been thoroughly cleaned. That's what happens to carpets by the beach! Don't miss the gardens behind the condo where there are excellent food trucks. Try the açai bowls from "Sweet Hula" for breakfast! There is a really friendly convenience store right in the condo building, a 5 minute walk to the bus stop and Foodland - a wonderful grocery store. We love Kihei and we had a great stay. We will definitely be booking Shawn's condo again.

Amazing stay

We had an amazing 10 day stay. The condo is spacious and nicely decorated. Located in a perfect spot close to restaurants and shopping you can walk to. They provide so much for you. I highly recommend you look in the outdoor storage box before you go shopping for umbrellas and snorkel gear. We really enjoyed our stay. The views were outstanding. Only issue we had was the dryer wasn’t working well. But it was a minor issue.

Nice place with Great Location!

Location was perfect! Right across from the park/small beach & Ocean. Condo is on the 4th floor so you can sit on the balcony and watch whales jumping & the sunset. Lots of action - Walk to restaurants and shopping. Ohana Seafood Bar & Grill and Paia Fish Market are both excellent and just a short walk. Lots of food trucks right behind in the South Maui Gardens. The condo is across the street from the ocean so there is quite a bit of traffic but it didn't seem to bother us. Condo was small but nice. Perfect for 2 people. Bed was a little more firm but the linens were nice. No kind of bath soap provided so bring your own. Nicer cookware and utensils then I've ever had in a vrbo. Appreciated that! Nice comfortable furniture & well kept place. Beach chairs, umbrella and beach toys were also there to use. Had a great time! We would stay here again!

Vacation in paradise

We didn't want to stay at the big resorts and opted for a VRBO. This unit checked all the boxes and exceeded our expectations! Ocean view, AC, walking distance from restaurants, shopping and grocery store. The condo had everthing. Filtered water and ice from the fridge in the kitchen, pots and pans (so we didnt need to go out for breakfast and happy hour each day), beach towels, chairs, umbrella and blanket. We rented boogie boards at the store across the street (couldn't convince my son to take a surfing lesson). Great beginner surfing right across the street from the condo. We only had to drive 30 minutes to do our luau and snorkeling trip in Lahina. Great beaches near by for snorkeling off the beach. Tons of shopping, food trucks and restaurants right outside your door. LOCATION, LOCATION, LOCATION! Totally recommend this condo!! Owner was very responsive from when we booked it 4 months in advance up to our departure.

It’s just so good!

This is the third time we’ve stayed at Island Surf and this unit is by far the best we’ve stayed in! It offers everything you need and the convenience to the shops and food is perfect! Plus the view is to die for! We will be back.

Great getaway spot!

We had a great stay at this location. Shawn was easy to communicate with and gave great suggestions for things to do. The condo was clean, had everything we needed and had a great ocean view! There were some great spots in walking distance of the building. It was also easy to get to other spots on the island from Kihei.

Perfect getaway spot!

Great condo in a perfect location! Shawn was so helpful with recommendations for place to go. Condo is clean and has everything you need! (The blender was used a lot 😜). We watched the sunrise on one balcony and the sunsets on the lanai ☀️. The beach park across the way was awesome— always a volleyball game going on. The “BARmedua triangle “ nearby was so much fun. It has like 7 or so so bar/restaurants. Highly recommend!

Excellent trip in April

The condo was great! Had everything we needed. Great location in Kihei. Easy to walk or drive out. The complex had its own parking lot with plenty of parking. Never had to wait in line for the elevator. Great communication with the host. Would love to go back!

Kihei Getaway

This was our second time visiting Kihei, and it was such an amazing stay. The location was PERFECT, right across from the water and the park! We were able to spot whales from the lanai - which was pretty spectacular. Shawn's unit was great, and suited well for our family of three. It was clean, quiet and very homey. The condo is located close to shopping, restaurants and many activities. We would happily enjoy returning to stay in Shawn's condo in the future!

Cute place with a view

We enjoyed our stay immensely. Owner was responsive when we couldn't unlock the door and had us in within minutes. Kitchen is fully stocked, and we found everything we needed during our stay There were beach towels, and beach toys, available. Only one beach chair, but that wasn't a problem for us. Walkable area with food, playground, beaches and shave ice places super close. Parking lot process was easy, and never too full. Right across the street from Maui wave riders if you plan to take surfing lessons. The bed was a bit soft for my liking, but nothing really to complain about.
