De temperaturen in Maui lijken verder te stijgen, dus houd er rekening mee dat Kama'ole Sands 1-405 een "splitzone-airconditioningsysteem met drie zones" heeft. Wanneer de passaatwinden niet waaien, zult u blij zijn dat 1-405 een koele plek voor u is om op te laden voor de volgende dag!

Dus, Kama'ole Sands. Dit is een geweldig resort in een geweldige omgeving; en het is aan de overkant van een van de beste stranden van Maui. Als u op zoek bent naar een badplaats om herinneringen aan Maui te creëren, dan is dit de plek.

Ja, de foto van de binnenplaats en de oceaan is genomen vanaf de Lanai op de 4e verdieping van ons gebouw, een Hawaiiaans toevluchtsoord. Het uitzicht op de fonteinen, tuinen en de oceaan is spectaculair vanuit ons ontspannen vakantiehuis.

Zodra u dit prachtige complex bezoekt, zult u zien waarom we de nadruk leggen op één gebouw. Dicht bij alles in het complex, maar ver genoeg om het strandverkeer niet te horen.

Kleine extra's zorgen voor betere herinneringen. Onze toegewezen parkeerplaats bevindt zich voor ons gebouw, veel niet. Gebouw één is gunstig gelegen nabij het administratiegebouw, tennisbanen en een barbecue. Oh ja, we zijn slechts enkele seconden verwijderd van het zwembad maar niet zo dichtbij dat je het geluid hoort.

Ons Hawaiiaanse huis is gemeubileerd. * We hebben een grote wasmachine en droger, een queensize bed en een badkamer op de begane grond, een kingsize bed en een badkamer op de zolder en een queensize slaapbank in de woonkamer.

We enjoyed our stay at Kamaole Sands. The condo had everything we needed and the balcony was spacious and had a great view of the ocean. The grounds were beautiful and the complex was convenient to activities, restaurants and several beaches. The condo also had AC which is a must in July! Larry was awesome to work with. Highly recommend!

Great Location and Condo

Our family had a great time in Maui. The condo had everything we needed for our family of five. The lanai easily accommodated all of us at the table and there was also a lounger. All lanais are not same size in this complex so do your research. Our host was great with all communications. This unit is closest to the courts if you like tennis and pickleball.

Beautiful View

We had a fantastic stay here in April, 2025 for 11nights. My favourite part of the unit was the view from the lana'i. You're not right on the water, but you can see the ocean in the distance, and the wonderful gardens of Kamaole Sands. The lana'i is large (many units have smaller ones), and has great seating for a family.We found the unit well suited for our family of 5 with one child using the pull-out bed (our children are ages 10-12yrs old). Many places only have seating for 4 at their dining tables, but this place has seating for 6. Some aspects of the unit are dated (like the kitchen sink), but it has many other features (like air conditioning!), and everything was clean. There was a good selection of kitchen dishes, pots, etc. and some spices for us to use. There are also lots of fans if you don't want to use the air conditioning.The unit is in building one, which is close to the front desk building and tennis courts. The pool is a short walk away, but not visible from the unit. We also couldn't hear much noise from the pool either. Fountains run in the day and evening, which also provides some white noise. There is an elevator to get to the 4th floor.We had an issue with the front door lock, but the host was very prompt at responding, & has since had it replaced. Our kids loved the pool, & we loved that it had some shade for the deck chairs. Overall, a great stay!

Our family with two little kids stayed had a great time. We really loved the close access to the beach (quick walk down path and across street), walkability to coffee shops and restaurants/shops, beautiful views of ocean and sunset from the lanai, pool and grill amenities, and beautiful grounds. We also really appreciated the beach chairs, umbrella, and toys! It made for a very nice stay. Minor critique is that the upstairs mattress could use upgrading. Overall, we would like to return!

Amazing location

Kihei is a great spot in Maui and this is the perfect spot in Kihei. You can see the beach and walk to the beach with the wagon, chairs, umbrella, cooler and towels provided. The building you stay in is by the pickle and tennis courts and also where you sign up for them making it perfect for the activity. I am so looking forward to coming back.

Perfect Location

Our stay started off on a rough note. To the surprise of the owner, manager and us the unit was getting a new roof installed the day we checked in. Manager was great and offered to help us any way possible including moving to a different building. We may it work with the noise and just stayed away from the unit most of the days. We came back in the late afternoon and construction crews were gone. As far as the actual unit itself, it was perfect for us. Updated bathrooms, huge patio, air conditioning, and plenty of room for the family. We will definitely reach out again when we return to Maui.

Fantastic maui location

We had some difficulty with the room code but it was resolved. Only suggestion would be to make it clear who else has the code on late arrival. We are new to vrbo so partly our fault. Overall this is an amazing place with all things needed. Beautiful view. Great place. Comfy beds. Lots to do.

Perfect family spot

The place was perfect for our 1-kid family with the grandparents along. Super location - kid-friendly beach right across the road with good snorkeling as well. Easy walking distance to many shops/eats. The condo complex had a nice pool with 2 hot tubs (one for adults only which was relaxing). A little thing, but a great bonus, was the folding wagon for taking the supplied beach toys across the street :)
