Elke kamer werd volledig gerenoveerd met prachtige nieuwe vloeren, verf, armaturen en meubels van de beste designer showrooms van Mauis. Dit volledig uitgeruste appartement is ontworpen voor comfort en stijl en ligt op een minuut lopen van een van de stranden van Mauis, het strandpark Kamaole II Beach. Er is zelfs een beetje uitzicht op de oceaan vanaf de Lanai, de ideale plek om uw dag te beginnen met koffie in de ochtend of een drankje bij zonsondergang.

De unit biedt plaats aan vier gasten met behulp van een opgewaardeerde slaapbank en alle meubels in de woonkamer zijn nieuw. De keuken is volledig uitgerust en ingericht met prachtige vaat- en kookgerei en nieuwe full-sized roestvrijstalen apparaten. Op elke behoefte is geanticipeerd en ingegaan, en de eenheid is ingesteld om uw privé-eilandfeest voor te bereiden met een assistentie van de nabijgelegen gasgrills die tot uw beschikking staan. Sprankelende nieuwe kasten en werkbladen bepalen de high-end toon, geaccentueerd door een Keurig-koffiezetapparaat, blender en andere vakantiebenodigdheden.

De slaapkamer is voorzien van een prachtige nieuwe met de hand gesneden slaapkamer met hardhout en een nieuwe, hoogwaardige luxe hotelmatras.

De locatie op de vierde verdieping is een van de beste op het terrein, gelegen in het rustige gebouw C. Het Kihei Akahi ligt in het hart van de strandcultuur van Zuid-Kiheis, tegenover het schilderachtige strandwandelpad en handig voor elk van de drie juwelen van Kiheis, Kamaole I, II en III. Zwemmen in warm water, paddleboarden, kajakken, een levendig snorkelrif en alle zon die u aankunt, ligt voor de deur. Huur spullen binnen een steenworp afstand en geniet ten volle van het paradijs. This was our 20th trip to Maui and always stay in a condo, and this was one of the better ones. Overall, it was a great stay. I would have rated it as 4.5 stars if that were an option. This unit is remodeled and looks great, compared to some of the dated ones. It has split A/C's in the living room and bedroom and it does make a huge difference. Ceiling fans also in both rooms which is a plus. Bed was comfy. Nice view from the balcony. It had beach chairs, umbrellas and a cooler. The kitchen was well stocked, maybe even too much stuff. My only "issues" were minor, but I thought they should be shared. As with most condo's, there is nowhere to store your food. No pantry type cabinet, so it's all just sitting on the counter. There were 28 "wine" glasses, (why?) could of opened up some cabinet space for food. No door on the W/D so it gets a lil loud. The other odd thing was the vinyl/laminate flooring had "bubbles" in it. So there were quite a few spots that, when stepped on, made some noise. Not a huge deal, but if someone was sleeping, it be bothersome. Would I stay in this unit again, absolutely!! The owners obviously care of their unit and it shows, but I wanted to be transparent.

Great stay at this unit. Have stayed at the Kihei Akahi in the past but this unit was by far the best we've stayed in. Nicely maintained and updated all atound. Comfortable bed, and easily accessible plugs on both night stands with USB slots. AC in bedroom and living area was effective, and the added touch of a divertor on the fan on the patio meant you could use the lanai without getting blasted with hot air if it was on. They clearly put a lot of thought into making your stay comfortable and convenient. For a couple, I would highly recommend this unit. Thank you so much, our stay was amazing!

Unit was great. Convenient, short walking distance to beach and shops, restaurants. Host Vacation-Maui was excellent, the best we’ve had in all our stays in Maui. Communication from Vacation-Maui was excellent, kept you informed. Replacement of a slight leak with the AC tank pump was completed immediately. Would stay here again.

Great property, great location!

The property was very clean and very well stocked with everything you could possibly need. Just like in the photos. Property manager was great to communicate with and arrival/departure was easy and convenient. Beautiful Kam II beach was right across the street. Restaurants, groceries and rental gear/tours all within close walking distance. We used the beach chairs, beach towels and cooler every day. Only thing to note was that there were no boogie boards as mentioned in some of the other reviews. Had a great stay!

Good place!

We enjoyed our stay here. The best things about this rental are the location to the beach and food (so close), the newly renovated everything makes it really nice, bed is comfy, lots of fans, lots of beach gear provided, and it's clean. The only complaints we had were the A/C struggles to get to the bedroom. It is in the main area and difficult to cool off the back where you sleep. I also would not recommend this for people needing the hide-a-bed, as there are no curtains to block out the light in that room. Also, the beach gear was not guaranteed, take note. We hoped there would be boogie boards but there was just one little one that didn't work and we wished we'd have bought some, so we just rented. Not a huge deal but something to be aware of. So many beach options nearby, especially if you have a car and love exploring. Many places to eat in walking distance. Several nights we'd walk to get food and then find a spot to watch the sunset while we ate, it was awesome! Then you walk home and avoid all the traffic from people who drove to watch the sunset. The beach right by the condo was one of our favorites. We snorkeled, saw turtles, boogied, you could paddle board too. Great location.

Perfect Location in Paradise

The condo is clean with new modern furniture and appliances. The best part is the amazing beach right across the street. It is one of the safest for swimming and we appreciated the beach chairs, towels and umbrella to make our beach time comfortable. We met many nice people down by the pool and at the barbecue. We will be back again.

The best location, and great upgraded space

The complex this is in is such a prime location, and the grounds are well kept. We’ve stayed at many properties here, and loved the modern upgrades on this one. For the stay in late January, we almost didn’t even need the AC. We appreciated the extras as well, boogie boards, umbrella, cooler, and beach chairs. Everything was great, and working with the property manager was awesome too.

Fantastic unit & property at Kihei Akahi

This is my second time staying at Kihei Akahi and I absolutely love the property. Walking distance to once of the best beaches (KAM 2) and lots of great restaurants nearby. The unit was meticulous, checkin process was super simple, and there were plenty of extras to boot! (Tommy Bahama chairs, boogie boards, beach umbrella, etc). Hoping to return to Maui in 2022 and I would 100% book this rental property again. Mahalo :)

Return to Kihei Akahi

We like Kihei because you're only an hour from much of the island. This is nice for day trips. We like Kihei Akahi because of it's location to the beach, restaurants and shopping. The view of the ocean isn't as good from building C as it is from building D but it's a shorter walk. This unit has AC but it's noisy so we didn't use it. Actually AC isn't needed once all of the windows are opened. Even the entrance door has a heavy duty screen door that allows for more ventilation. It was 85° outside and it was very comfortable inside. The furnishings are good, we had no trouble sleeping. We don't watch a lot of TV but when we tried we found that the channel selection was limited. No networks, no NFL. Appliances are fine. Kitchen was fine for our needs. They provide beach chairs, towels and small coolers. Management was responsive to questions and concerns.

Maui Getaway

We loved our stay! My husband and I felt completely safe and comfortable.. The rental is located right across the street from the Kamaole beaches, which was so nice and convenient on our less busy days. There is also beach equipment like towels, chairs, umbrellas, and more. We loved eating breakfast on our balcony and the grounds at Kihei Akahi are beautiful! And the owners were great at responding to any questions we had about the rental. You won’t regret staying here!

We couldn’t have been happier with our accommodations. The condo was newly renovated and tastefully decorated. The kitchen was well stocked with cooking utensils and there were chairs, umbrella and miscellaneous items for the beach. We really appreciated the cable package a d being able to ac rss the Big Ten network during the basketball tournaments. The location was also perfect and the beach and restaurants were close by and easily walked to. We couldn’t have been happier with our stay!

During covid we chose to spend a couple weeks in Hawaii and this was our choice. The unit was very much as shown, very new and everything worked great , the king size bed was nice and the beach equipment was top notch. Kitchen pots and pans and dishes were perfect. The AC though old kept the living room/kitchen great , did little for the bedroom. The view was a big disappointment , looking down on the B building, could see the wave action if you leaned over the rail but otherwise nothing to see. The metal table set on the lanai was very uncomfortable and difficult to place a cup on do to all the design work in the table, really never used it and were very jealous of the upper D building views and table and chairs on their deck. the design of the unit has the floors main walkway going right under your bedroom window, you hear everything and feel quite exposed when the windows are open... everything needs to be a whisper. B building could see us and we could see them as there are no blinds in the living room. Would stay again I guess, the owner has really tried to make it special.

Maui getaway 2020

The property was just as pictured online, clean and comfortable. It was so nice having all the amenities they offered. Both Kevin and Todd were very helpful and responsive when we reached out with a few simple needs during our two week stay. We really enjoyed ourselves even in the midst of this pandemic. Unfortunately, we were unable to fully enjoy the property for our entire stay due to the closure of the pool/bbq area but were able to find some areas of beach to enjoy and access to some restaurants for take out. Thank you, we plan to return to Maui yearly. For now, stay safe and be well.
